Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomShower didn't work. Towel rail didn't work. Both fixed by maintenance but standing in the bath to wash hair and finding shower doesn't work is poor. Also booking a room for 2 people and having one chair is inexcusable. The picture shows 1 chair but no one should have to sit on a bed or stand for a 3 night stay even in a budget hotel. Surely you can do better than this, you say you are not a budget hotel. We are reluctant to pick a marriot again even though staff were so good.

staff and location excellent, dinner was very nice. We didn't have breakfast because it was expensive (£16.95) considering 2 people out of our party of 4 would of had a drink and a bowl of cereal. Never understood why hotels charge their residents so much for breakfast, and Marriott is by no means the most expensive.

We had a quiet Executive room on the 4th floor which was very comfortable. Hotel location was excellent for us - short walking distance from the station. We had breakfast in the Executive lounge (included in the price of the room) which was more than adequate - all self service but certainly no problem for us.

United KingdomThere was a little traffic noise in the morning, but being in the centre of town I suppose this would be unavoidable. This was not enough to ruin my stay or avoid me staying here again.
The hotel was in a great location for my needs and the shopping arcade. Plenty of bars and restaurants although Browns restaurant downstairs was excellent. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
