- super thin wall between the two rooms, not much privacy - relatively low water pressure (shower), maybe normal in these parts but still worth a mention - the microwave plate was missing so we couldn't cook anything (there is a kettle for coffee/tea though so that's good)

- very nice interior, comfortable and cozy - lots of amenities, even some food is provided - the view - it's super quiet and safe - there are nice walking paths around the neighborhood, cemetery etc - lots of outlets - Claire is a great host

Loved everything!

Perfect spot for our first night! Quiet and everything we needed. Hot showers, warm bed and even tea in the morning. Owner was so kind and welcomed us right as we arrived to make sure we settled in fine.

The wee lodge is just lovely for a weekend away. Had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were great too, Claire was away for the weekend but still kept in contact with me & responded to any enquires. Her husband even offered to give us a lift one evening when we couldn't get a taxi to meet our friends.

Excellente place to stay near by Fort William ! Claire and her husband are so kind, and their cows are lovely ! The cabin gives a very great view and it is even possible to see Ben Nevis (by walking 2min in a little path near by the house) Everything was perfect, clean and very confortable We had a wonderfull time in Carnach and we sure recommend it !

Was extremely cold, could do with better heating and also a heater in bathroom. Maybe a tv, for night watching. Maybe an armchair or small settee.

Beds comfy, shower great with towels provided. Nice little touches with breakfast and milk , hoist were very accommodating in letting us see their highland cows, which was great.

There were TONS of bugs in the cabin. We killed so many flies, spiders, and ticks. There was also water damage around the tiny shower, markings on the walls, and stains on the towels. It was unbearably hot and stuffy in the cabin but we couldn't leave the door or windows open very long because there were no screens and more bugs would crawl in. It made me feel a little claustrophobic. We eventually went 20 minutes to the nearest store and bought 3 fans plus a bug zapper wand and bug catchers. It was so miserable. We didn't sleep well during the nights we stayed. The only garbage cans wouldn't hold more than two water bottles, so we also had to go back to the store and buy our own garbage bags and bag our garbage, but there was no where to dispose of it. Between all the boxes from the fans and then water bottles, this added up quickly. The "refrigerator" didn't keep things cold, so we had to purchase ice for a cooler. We told the host how warm and uncomfortable it was... Out of all the places we have reserved through Booking, this has been the only one we wouldn't return to. On top of that, the host had the nerve to claim WE damaged the property. Good thing we took videos and photos. Unbelievable. We're just glad we didn't stay here for our entire trip.
