This is a fabulous place to stay! So close to the train station, bus interchange and main street, but no noise from any of them. Belinda & Rob are excellent hosts, and looked after us really well. Breakfasts were perfectly cooked and delicious. Rooms were serviced daily, which was a pleasant surprise.

The shower head was so high I couldn't reach it, and the shower itself had a high rim round it, which was a little difficult to climb out of. But both these things are just nit-picking.

The bedroom wasn’t very big but was fine for one night. Perhaps other rooms were larger. The towels could do with replacing as seemed frayed.

We booked at last minute because of the location. The room was clean and felt secure. The owners were helpful and even got up early to make us a very nice breakfast as we had an early start.

The room felt a bit cold as the heating wasn't on. However, the bed was very warm and cosy so this wasn't really a problem.

Friendly welcome, cosy room, most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a b&b, excellent breakfast, nice and clean, right next to train station. TV and WiFi great.

No issues, no problems especially with my delayed arrival.

Next to railway station, but no train noise. Clean comfortable rooms, with en-suite, beds comfy & room warm enough. Nice that windows can be opened. Freshly cooked filling breakfast with plenty of options. Owners very friendly & helpful.

Room was small but comfortable and clean. A lot of doors to get through in a short space. Wanted to store bike inside but appreciate there was not room or space to do this.

Great central position. Comfortable and v friendly & helpful people. Kindly did an early breakfast as we were doing big bike ride and need to leave by 8am.

Good breakfast and good location. Not noisy even next to a local pub. A coin laundry shop next door is definitely a bonus. Good restaurants within walk distance but don't forget to book a table in advance.

Very comfortable, quiet and welcoming. Lovely breakfast. Perfect location for us as it was very close to the train station and we were wanting an overnight stay on our return from the Isles of Scilly.

I stayed at the Carson House Penzance for a one night stop over My stay was very comfortable and it is very handy for the train and bus station which are just round the corner a 2 minute walk. Staff very pleasant and the breakfast is very nice with a selection on offer I opted for the traditional breakfast which was very nicely served with a smile. If you want a pleasent stay you could do a lot worse than the Carson House for the money.
