Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomHow small the sofa was. Only because my partner is a very big guy so we could barely share the sofa together but that was fine as we only stayed 2 nights any longer and I think we'd have struggled to relax in the lounge area together.
Relaxing break, close to brecon, nice grounds,

United KingdomAnother gate separating the garden/entrance of the two properties would have been useful, just so that we could let the dog out in the garden without worrying that she would get out on the main road. I appreciate there is a main gate on the driveway but we didn't want to impinge on the other property on site and the access in and out off the main road into the parking area/driveway. A minor point anyway and would stay there again with a dog
Lovely, quiet, tranquil spot with all the facilities we needed (couple, baby, dog) for a short stay over a long weekend in the area. The host was helpful and checked in with us after our arrival and offered some recommendations. The place is small but modern and well equipped and we knew this when booking - it was a balance of finding a property that wasn't dated or too expensive and so space was the compromise but it was cost and had everything we needed. Bed really comfortable, room nice and dark, lovely spot to explore the area and great shower!

United KingdomThe spiral stairs were not my favourite and not the most wide staircase to get up, especially carrying bags - but it was as pictured and meant that you had two floors of living space. But they were definitely sturdy and did what they were meant to.
The property was so cute! Really nicely decorated and had everything you needed in a small space (but it didn't feel too small). The bed was also SUPER comfy! We had a sunny, warm couple of days stay too so it was lovely to have both patio doors open and sit on the decking. Truly felt like you were in the middle of nowhere!

United KingdomThe garden isn't fully enclosed but our dogs always stay with us so it wasn't an issue. The stairs weren't the easiest to use at first but we quickly got used to it.
Great location, just a short drive to the nearby village with lots to do. Huge garden area with a cosy BBQ hut. Lots of amenities supplied (wooden skewers to roast marshmallows. Coal, firelighters, wood and matches to start the BBQ. Tea, coffee, sugar as well as lots of condiments. There was lots of cooking equipment (toaster, air fryer, toasty maker) making it very easy to cook; it was like everything had been thought about!!

United KingdomThere was dirty cutlery and plates with hairs on in the cupboards and a layer of grease on the cupboard drawers that we cleaned up. We anticipated a bit more cleanliness and understand that things can go amiss however was quite disappointed we had to gather kitchenware to clean prior to using.
I liked how well decorated it was and how similar everything was to the photographs too. Perfect surroundings and really close to a lovely wild deer forest which we thoroughly enjoyed.

United KingdomCouldn't fault a thing, the space was comfortable and bright. I would only fault the location but even then as long as you have a car, everything is accessible enough.
I and my partner stayed here for his surprise birthday weekend. This place surpassed our expectations, particularly with the gorgeous little bbq hut, we have never seen a feature like this before and it certainly made our night there even more special. Wood, coal, and utensils were supplied, and the space was cosy inside. The stay overall was spot on, great space for two people, lots of kitchen appliances to use which was great as we love to make meals whilst on our travels, the bedroom was comfortable and the whole space of all the rooms was lit lovely. There is a little village nearby which can be accessed on foot with local shops, food, and restaurants, but I would recommend having a car staying here as most things are a little out of reach on foot. Overall, we would definitely stay again.

United KingdomAll great.
Small yet - apart from the bathroom basin - inexplicably uncramped, even spacious! An example of ingenious design. Spotless. Well and thoughtfully equipped and everything worked as it should. Easy and private parking on the level. Nice oulook across fields. Private with even a great range of garden furniture, so if you just wanted to lounge around you could. You need to be reasonably agile though to cope with the spiral stairs. Really nice bakery just before the bridge and co-op in the Llandeilo. We had a lovely walk from the cottage to Carreg Cennen castle.

This property is a fully equipped small flat divided in the floors. The flat was very nicely decorated and clean. Llandeilo is nearby if you need to buy some grocery. If the weather allows, there is also the possibility to enjoy the breakfast outside on the patio :) Parking is available at the property. Nearby (within maybe 10miles) there are also three very interesting parks/gardens to visit like the Aberglasney Gardens, the National Botanical Gardens of Wales and the Dinefwr Park.
