We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomI made a mix up whilst booking, the owner of the hotel telephoned me in person the next day to reassure me dates could be changed and not to panic. She even very kindly threw in a room upgrade. The Customer Service was excellent and the hotel and location were fab too, as was the big breakfast!

United KingdomWe stayed in the Barder suite , which we felt was extremely tired. When I closed the curtains plaster had fallen off the wall and was still crumbling? Understood about single use toiletries but the larger dispensers should at least pump effectively!! No tissues any where in room? Poor tea and coffee facilities? Chair tatty and worn. Tired room needs a refurb? No robes which I thought there would be in a suite?
The ambience, quality of linen, towels, crockery and cutlery. Friendliness of Staff, welcome at Reception. The Restaurant and quality of food.

Location v good Accessible room really good Fantastic shower ..For relatively small room very comfortable good access to bathroom with a average size wheelchair. Only criticism would actual access to room with parking very tight and quite a tricky incline for either ambient or wheelchair user. Breakfast good

United KingdomNot necessarily a dislike. However, the shower was difficult to use in our room, and a few broken things around the building, eg, the hand dryer in the restroom.
The location was great, in the heart of the city; walking distance from the famous Gothic Cathedral & Castle. Super friendly and informative staff for recommendations, very welcoming. Really good breakfast options cooked to order by their very own award winning chef.

Waited 1 hour the first morning and 20 mins before ordering the second morning even though there were only 2 or 3 occupied tables The first night we stayed in a courtyard Property which was lovely apart from the car parked in front over hanging the doorstep making it difficult to take suitcases in without damaging the car There is very limited parking. We had to park in a car park opposite and pay £9 for 24 hours parking
Location, comfort, rooms The hotel is beautiful, the rooms well appointed and comfortable, and very central. It’s a very short walk to pubs, restaurants and artisan shops, and the breathtaking cathedral and castle. The breakfast was lovely but the service was way too slow. I believe they were short staffed and the receptionist was doubling up as a waitress. The staff were very polite and helpful

The location and hotel was amazing, along with the staff. Unfortunately the breakfast was terrible. We waited 50 mins for a cooked breakfast (and we were not the only people waiting too long) and when the breakfast came out, it was barely cooked/cold and very disappointing. Apart from the breakfast we would definitely stay again 👍

United KingdomRoom a little too small but OK When arriving we noticed food stains on the carpet behind the door in the room, under the tea and coffee shelf. They were never cleaned by the daily staff who came in. Just left there. They could've easily been cleaned. It was not easy to find staff. often we got the feeling they were short staffed. The breakfast was poor. The uncooked options disappointing. We only had breakfast for one of our 5 days in spite of paying for it. Instead we went out for breakfast. Even the coffee was poor.
Comfy beds and bedding. Quiet and peaceful. Nice decor.

United KingdomThe beds are not very comfortable. The mattress was thin, soft and lumpy. It is the only thing that let the apartment down. It wouldn’t deter me from booking again as the apartment was lovely and clean and in a brilliant location but maybe something to think about, invest in new mattress
