Concentrating on local products is a good approach for this type of business. The gin still in the basement was also very interesting.

Bed was a little uncomfortable for me, but my partner thought it was fine.

The room was spacious, had a great view and location. Parking was free in February for Quickwell Hill. The owner was very hospitable. Breakfast was excellent.

We found a sock of the last occupant on the floor in the bedroom so we were not too impressed with this. Also, the window could not be closed. It was so cold in that main room.

Location was lovely, overlooking the Cathedral was gorgeous. The room was nicely styled, and it was nice that there was a fridge and a TV.

There was what looked like a tea stain on the otherwise pristine bedding. In addition the toilet seat was only fixed on one side. Small things that could easily be fixed

Accommodation was excellent. Great views from the lounge. Also ate at the restaurant across the road which was also excellent.

The shower didn't quite work as it should, or perhaps I couldn't work it out. The floors are wooden in all the apartments, so there was a certain amount of noise above when people walked about.

A small table and chairs would have been useful for laptop and reading. The wifi wasn’t brilliant and dropped out quite frequently.

The location on the top floor with fabulous views over the cathedral towards the west coast. The apartment is spacious and unfussy, with a good shower and space to put toiletries. We had a warm welcome from Neil, our host.

No curtains & white roller blind only in bedroom which let through daylight from dawn. Used towels & pillows unsuccessfully to try to block light which prevented us from sleeping from daybreak! Insufficient power plugs in lounge & bedroom for use for laptop, iPad, phones, kettle, hairdryer, fridge etc. Kettle has integral cable/plug which is awkward as the whole lot has to be unplugged & taken to the bathroom to fill. The plug/socket is behind the fridge. Minor but irritating!

First impressions were not great as the outside of the building and entrance looked quite rundown.

The Suite was great although 2 flights of stairs a little challenging for a dodgy hip. Fantastic view from the lounge but no blind when the sun was shining straight in in the evening. Breakfast was great although we weren’t offered a choice of time

It was beautifully decorated and the views over St David's were breathtaking. The bed was super comfortable too. I slept all night, which is practically unheard of.

Nothing at all!

The view was....incredible with a sunset to match. The suite was very comfortable with a lovely big bathroom, comfy bed, and ample tea and coffee. The cooled bottle of water in the fridge was very welcoming on a hot sunny day. Communication with the hosts was excellent. The breakfast in the restaurant across the road was delicious and we appreciated the 'farm to fork' information.
