We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

It was our second visit to the Cavendish so knew what to expect and we weren't disappointed. Excellent breakfast choices. Large and very comfortable room. Close to bus stops and a short walk to the sea front. Made to feel very welcome and at home by Jamie our host. Will be back.

Firstly the lovely warm welcome on arrival. We were shown to our spotlessly clean,spacious and well equipped room which was serviced daily. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location is fantastic only a short walk to the beach and pier area and all the shops and great places to eat. Our hosts Jamie and Lee were a amazing and very attentive to any needs including a lovely surprise for my wife’s birthday which made our stay even more special. They were always on hand with ideas and suggestions for places to visit and good restaurants. Our stay included breakfast which was delicious and really set you up for the day. All in all the perfect place to stay for us and we will definitely be returning.

Lee and Jamie certainly know how a b and b should be run. The attention to detail was second to none. Breakfast excellent as was the service and set us up for the day. Everywhere was spotless and very tidy. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they made us feel welcome at all times. We would return here without hesitation, and would recommend it to anyone else. If in Bournemouth again, we would not think about staying anywhere but the Cavendish..

Beds were very comfortable. All was spotlessly clean with excellent thick , fluffy towels in the bathroom. Jamie, our host, was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with freshly prepared fruit and a good choice for the cooked breakfast. It was very conveniently located for walking to the beach or hopping on a bus.

When we arrived Jamie came out to meet us and even helped us bring our luggage in, before showing us to our room The whole building was modern and tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. Jamie & Lee, the owners, work very hard to make sure you have everything you could need. Our room had a proper hairdryer, fresh clean towels daily, free toiletries, tea, coffee, water, milk and biscuits replenished daily. Both guys were very approachable and gave us tips on places to visit and eat - when asked. I liked that they were always available if you needed something but you could come and go anonymously. Fantastic hot breakfast very nicely presented and cereals, toast and large home made pots of freshly cut fruit and yogurts. Plentiful pots of tea too!

After looking at the reviews on the Cavendish all we can say is that everything about the Cavendish could not be faulted. On arrival after a long car journey, we were very impress with the outside appearance and location. We were met by Jamie who was really friendly and shown to our room (5). Excellent room very clean and all you needed. Breakfast was very good with a choice of options. We were looked after by Jamie who was very easy to talk to and helpful with any queries we had. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Cavendish if you are visiting Bournemouth. You will not be disappointed
