Room was on the top floor meaning the ceiling was very close to my head when sleeping, which made it uncomfortable to stay in bed and read before sleep. heating was quite poor in my room and no way to put it up.

Heating of the room works intermittently- ometimes hot, sometimes cold. Shower is made that it is almost impossible to avoid some spray of water on the floor.

Breakfast is served by order. It is good quality, but choice is full english breakfast or components. So every day the same. Room is quite confortable, but beds could be better. Good location- 10min by walking to reach Regent street, department of Chemistry. Acroos the street is botacic garden. About 1km to reach river CAM where are walking paths along.

Friendly staff, ease of check-in and check-out, and with parking facilities. Good breakfast available, and a short distance from the train station. Walk to City centre is about 20 minutes, with many food places along the way. The Botanical gardens is just a short walk away as well.

Unfortunately I was misled when booking as the picture showed a bath with a shower attachment however there was only a bath and no shower so was disappointed as I only like showers.

Probably wouldn't book attic room again, perfectly comfortable but faced into road so bit noisy, having said that we slept well

Good cooked breakfast with cereals and juice

Cooked part of breakfast was brought out almost as soon as it was ordered, didn't give us time to eat the cereal on offer. Had to ask for it to be kept warm. Specifically asked for well done egg for my mother, but it was under done, white was "snotty", so she couldn't eat it.

The staff were brilliant! Friendly, helpful. The breakfast was lovely for the most part. Room was warm and comfy. Bathroom was immaculate! Free parking a major bonus, easy walk to the centre.

I think if you had a physical disability it maybe difficult because there were no lifts and a lot of stairs.

Centennial is a small independent hotel which we all need to support. It was a little quirky and retro in some instances but in a lovely and fun way. The staff were very helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived until we left. The hotel was clean and breakfast was very enjoyable although busy the staff were efficient. Finally, it was only 20 min walk into the centre with an array of bakeries, restaurants and pubs along the way. Cambridge is a beautiful and interesting City, we would definitely return and we would definitely like to return to the Centennial Hotel.

Really grasping at straws to find something we didn’t like, but if anything, would have like drinking water in the room.
