There were a couple of bits of DIY that needed finishing and the kitchen had a couple of stains when we arrived. The carpet was a little dirty too so feel it was a little overpriced but it didn’t stop us having a nice time

The place had a bit of a neglected feel. Looked like it used to be quite fancy but then wasnt taken care of properly, so all the little things were either dirty or broken. Toilet seat didnt stay on, felt like the whole toilet moved if you leaned to the side to wipe. Shower was very fiddly and couldnt get good pressure. Couldn't use the pots/utensils or the kettle as they were all dirty (the kettle had really old caked on stuff inside, couldnt even make a cuppa). Was a bit disappointed that they advertised a washing machine in the room but didnt supply any washing powder, so I had to pay for a whole container just to do two loads of washing. The washing machine didnt dry well at all, i had to hang them up to finish the job. No aircon, only a dirty fan in the room but you couldn't open the windows as there were lots of bugs and no window screens. I found three spiders, two quite big - I'm Australian so I didnt really mind but it's annoying when you're paying what I paid to have to deal with this.

Good security with the room code so you dont need a key. Nice place, decorated well. Seems like a good location.

There is no tv in the bedroom, for people who sleep with the tv or some light source this can be quite irritating. The lock on the door was quite dogey, sometimes it would lock and other times you’d just be able to push it open. Due to this me and my partner actually had to sleep on the sofa as we didn’t feel safe being so far from the door when it doesn’t lock properly.

It has everything you could possibly need, the property is only a 10/15 minute walk from westquay shopping centre.

My only criticism was that the studio bathroom was dirty. Shower and inside of unit drawers. Also there is a broken window which needs attention along with marks on the carpet.

Received a message three days before travelling stating that flat 201 would not now be available due to circumstances beyond hosts control. I ws very disappointed as this for mother and adult daughter reunion. Offer to stay in 202 , a studio, was accepted as too short notice to find alternative. Negotiated a partial refund so satisfied.

Location is really good. It’s near city centre The flat was very clean and comfortable and very aesthetically pleasing. It has complete cutleries and cooking stuff. It also has smart tv so you can definitely relax on your staycation.

The only slight drawback was that the leaky shower hose and wobbly slider rail need to be replaced - hence 9/10 for facilities. But we advised the host about this as we left and he promised to fix it. Otherwise everything was absolutely ideal.

Location ideal - easy walking distance from Carfax, or there are buses. There were two of us, but not a couple; having advised the host, when we arrived the sofa bed was all made up ready in the sitting room. It's really well equipped if people were staying on holiday - including dishwasher and washing machine. Nicely decorated and beautiful modern shower room.

Morden Beautiful Clean Well Equipped Nice Apartment, I felt homely very comfortable place in a nice location which is close to City Center. I found everything I needed. The host Sara is very lovely and helpful. I would recommend anyone who visits Oxford. I will definitely book this lovely place again in the near future! 😊

As advertised, there was no on-site parking, but I didn’t realise that there would be resident-only parking zones covering all the streets nearby. Nearest overnight parking was 20mins walk away at the Park & Ride. Every time someone opened the front door it sounded like they were trying to get into our flat. Bathroom light and fan switched on automatically when you go past the bathroom door, so we kept waking each other up.

Great instructions to get into the property. Excellent communication with the owner. Wonderful shower with on-demand hot water. Nice selection of soft drinks and refreshments. Comfy beds. Nicely furnished. Great location, only a mile from the city centre. Bus stop right outside.

Leak in the bathroom coming through light bulb. Host emailed to let us know but no offer of a change in a room or discount. Broken chair, cigarette burns, stains on the sofa, marks on the wall, Bathroom mirror light needed replacing

This flat is FILTHY. As a lone traveller I rely heavily on guests' reviews and can only assume the good reviews for this place have been written by friends and family! First impressions - the smell from the skip by the front door was overpowering. There was a horrible odour in the flat itself - the curtains smell of dust and the sofa stinks of the many greasy, sweaty heads that have rested on it, I bought Febreze to mask the revolting smell. All the furniture and carpets are covered in stains and cigarette burns. The extractor fan in the bathroom was thick with dust and the shower trap cover was disgusting. The smoke alarm was covered with cling film (!?) The oven was an absolute disgrace. The windows haven't been cleaned for a very long time. Having seen how dirty the flat was, I wasn't convinced the sheets I slept in were clean. There was one short curly hair on the bottom sheet so I ended up sleeping between towels on the first night and buying sheets the following day. Now - the flat I booked was No 201, but the flat I stayed in was completely different, as can be seen in the last 5 photos I have uploaded. It is not the same flat which is on the Booking.com website!  The photos show different furniture, a different kitchen layout (note the position of the kitchen tap and different number of cupboards), My flat had an extra window in the lounge and I had an extractor fan in the bathroom whereas the photo on Booking.com doesn't have a fan. So what you book is NOT where you stay, How misleading and dishonest is that? The hospitality industry have recently gone to great lengths to make sure their establishments are as clean and hygienic as possible. The owners of this hovel obviously don't care about their guests. I wasn't expecting the RItz but I did expect cleanliness!!I This is easily the worst place I've ever stayed in and it's been memorable in the worst way possible. Please don't stay here!
