Not the most modern but clean i.e. had some character, not sure about the green door surround light but is distinctive. Hearing people above moving around.

The parking was a problem. There is a space allocated outside but other people had parked across it making it unusable.

The property was a good size with everything we needed. It is basic but pleasant enough. We were there for a very short time as we were out at an event from early until late.

Key in key box did not operate door lock but was unlocked anyway, didn’t worry me. If my wife was with me I would be spending the night on the floor next to the door

Could do with a comfier living room set up: one more comfy chair would be nice.

When people write their review for this place I think they're forgetting how cheap it is. I'm not coming here expecting a 5* hotel for less than £60 a night. It's a perfect location, right in town and 1min walk to a beautiful coastline. A great base for exploring the south coast and so many lovely towns nearby. Great shower, good equipment to cook your own food, plenty of space. Washing machine, big freezer, secure outdoor area ideal for the dog. Bring a few extra towels for yourself. I would definitely return as I loved the location of this place for the price.

The apartment was clean, although very dated. I stayed for a night and for me, it was all about the location. Things mentioned in other reviews are certainly true but I still enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again. Thanks very much.

The location is amazing. A short walk to the beach, with places to eat and drink right on the doorstep. The bed is very comfortable. For the price paid, you won't find anything like it.

needed more cutlery glasses etc bedding and towels needed freshening up but otherwise no complaints

it is perfectly situated just to the back of the village green , close to pubs cafes a fab fish and chip shop and 2 local stores.5 mins walk from the beach . parking right outside and a nice little courtyard with table and chairs out the front.Ideal if you have a dog. comfy bed , everything worked, good shower, good range of kitchen appliances.living area small but fine for 2 people.still being decorated and finished but it will be very cosy when it’s done.

It was tired like an old Butlins chalet, the neighbour wanted me to move my car off the allocated parking somewhat, which I did. It was very very basic which they had 2 pieces of paper hand written taped to a draw and a cupboard informing that and requesting no bad reviews be put online, to which they would offer 10 % discount next stay. I have no reason to go again. So I won't. Didn't use shower facilities or bath and kitchen sink was a bit paint stained.

Green lights (but you can turn them off). No armchairs in lounge (but out most of time anyway) Carpet needs replacing but clean) cupboards could do with a clean(but you dont sleep in them)

Run by 2 elderley gents. If your looking for hot water, clean sheets and very basic accomodation and CHEAP book. Certainly has its faults, yes it needs updating and although tired, old and outdated it serves its purpose, quiet and secluded in a lovely town, close to shops, ammenities and beach. Dont expect 3* , but Owners very keen to please. Yes very basic but all you need.

Has great potential to be a lovely place. Needs some attention to detail I.e paint carpet,ends on curtain tracks & microwave turntable table plate! Gate latch. Just to mention a few bits. A comfy chair would be great.

The flat has great potential to be a fantastic holiday let as it has a lot going for it but it is quite tired in its presentation. It could do with a freshen up and a bit of attention to detail / a bit of TLC Half eaten sandwiches left in the fridge Needed more towels No where to store clothes Kitchen utensils all quite battered Not huge issues for us as we were literally there less than 12 hours and just needed somewhere to crash for the night but had we been staying for a weekend away, it would have been a problem

We booked last minute due to change in family xmas plans so needed somewhere local Location for us was perfect Flat was nice and warm when we checked in Key was easy to get to Shower was decent

we were promised 2 nights free and the rest half price after our stay last time but we were charged full price the owner roly promised to return the difference when we arrived but we are still waiting.we found that it wasn't any better it was still dirty and needed a dam good refurbish also there wasn't any proper kitchen utensils or pans when asked roly said they had been stolen which didn't help when trying to cook breakfast.The person upstairs wakes you up at 5am.So if you are looking for a peaceful and restful stay I wouldn't recommend this place you don't get what you pay for anything but

It rained

Fantastic location, right on the pretty village green, with everything you need on the doorstep, including supermarket and takeaways. The private, secure garden was brilliant for the dogs, as they can wonder in and out as they please, without any risk of escape. Bed was very comfortable, and bath and shower were welcoming. Fridge freezer, washing machine, WiFi, TV etc etc. Private parking right outside the door. Overall, excellent value for money, and very easy self service. Cosy and private. Will definitely be using this property again when we visit the area.

Location. Difficult to park. Loud footsteps on bare floor overhead from 5.45 a.m. onwards. The room was clean, but smelled musty, and its position gave dingy lighting. Mattress extremely firm/hard and pillows very thin. I realise this suits many people - but it would be useful to know (for clients with tender backs).

Very pleasant, kind young man cleaning the place when we arrived.
