Breakfast was great. Staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We were even allowed to check in earlier than stated to allow us time to get ready for the family wedding we were attending. Great location, 5min walk from the Barbican, pubs, restaurants and the sea.

Free Wifi did not work. Connection very poor so cut out all the time. The lack of free parking.

Breakfast was excellent. None of us expected it to be 10 out of 10. Certainly worth walking up the road to. The host and staff were very friendly.

Nothing of note, only getting woken up at 4am by another couple shouting after a night out, but that isn't the hotel's fault.

Bed was very comfortable. Staff were lovely and very eager to help in any way. The breakfast was delicious. No cerfew was helpful as we knew we were coming back fairly late after a concert.

Maybe a bit better shower pressure.

Location was great, only a 10 min walk into the centre. The check in man was lovely and stayed up late for us as our train arrived past check in time.

The breakfast was a little underwhelming at one piece of each option. There was also a confusion with our order as partner didn't want mushrooms on their fry up but I did. Both plates came out with no mushrooms.

Room was clean, beds comfy and location perfect. Receptionist was very helpful. Managed to get me some ice for my foot after I injured myself at the fair and allowed us a late check out.

Helpful Tips. Just the cooked breakfast wasn't as hot as I would liked. I do understand it was a busy time. Something to look at on how to improve. In our room it would have been nice to have just a little more tea & coffee etc and have these items along with the mugs on a tray and when in the shower , some where to put your shower gel etc.

The location was good and the B & B was clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful . It was nice meeting other guests at breakfast in the lounge. Our room was clean and tidy each day.

Family room can do with a microwave at least, the bathroom sink taps were very hard to wash hands etc as the taps were far too short enabling us to get our hands quite under the taps.

paid for 3 rooms with bathrooms but on arrival one of the rooms had a shared bathroom, we did not say anything about this as we had already arrived very late and decided we would allow our friends to share our bathroom but had we have been staying longer it would have been very disappointing for a room that cost £100 a night!

staff were very friendly and helpful

Depending on your room, the breakfast can be in another bulding. Breakfast was satisfying, but not self-service. You have to partly pre-order and need to ask if you want something more.

We were pleased we got own bathroom even we paid for shared one. Very kind and helpful staff, good location for travelling in Cornwall (by car).
