The cottage was very well thought out, homely, with lots of attention to detail. It was warm and cosy; we could control the heating. The owner was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. A brilliant stay.

What a wonderful hidden gem this cottage is, in a lovely picturesque village, a short distance from Settle. Steve was lovely and the cottage was just perfect, it was clean, comfortable and very homely.

It was a fantastic stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing I can think to improve would be the bed but that just be me!

Steve was a fantastic host. Very friendly and welcoming but also advised some great walks around the area. The cottage is in an ideal location for dog walks and right next to two nice pubs.

These are not negatives in any way but personal preferences. Only one pillow on the bed per person and normally sleep with two. Arm chairs in the living room and prefer settee to lounge on after a days walking.

Excellent location, quiet and walks on the door step. Few minutes from the railway station and directly opposite the pub. Very clean and cosy. Had everything we needed for a short stay over. Would definitely stay again. Host very accommodating, friendly and informative about the area. Great accommodation for the price.

Everything was perfect

The property had so much character! It was very comfortable and homely, the perfect location for a relaxing weekend. Steve was the perfect host and even brought us a bottle of bubbly to see in the new year. The weather was not in our favour so the toasty fireplace was welcomed by us and the dogs. We will definitely be returning.

Absolutely nothing. It was perfect.

We were attending a wedding locally and Steve’s apartment was absolutely perfect for us for the one night we stayed. Communication with Steve was spot on, he let us check in early before the wedding and even offered to give us a lift to the venue which was extremely kind and helpful. It’s a 10 minute walk into the centre of Settle. The apartment was cosy and nice and warm, has everything you need and comes with it’s own parking space so if you’re needing somewhere to stay in the area then I would highly recommend staying here. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Steve!

Beautiful little cottage. Perfectly placed in a courtyard next to the pub. We cooked in as we enjoyed the space. Very quiet and comfortable. We immediately felt at home. The host is friendly and helpful. We walked into Settle for à performance at the music hall.

Steve met me when I arrived and showed me round, he was very nice and friendly. The property was spotlessly clean and was very well equipped.
