Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomIn their red book they offered a free welcome glass of wine in the bar. We went down and asked Natalia for a glass of Prosecco each and then had a 2nd glass and was charged on checkout £40 for 4 glasses. We thought that was a disgrace. We stayed 4 nights and would have expected them to reduce the first 2 glasses of Prosecco as they were offering a welcome glass of wine 🍷. I did question why we were charged for the 4 glasses as a welcome drink was offered and Olivia said oh sorry that's for a standard glass of wine.

Natalia the receptionist was fab. She remembered us from our last visit. The room was very pleasant and spacious. The location was great as it was close to the shops, restaurants and theatres. Also right in front of the beach and was given parking permits.

The room was compact and had everything you needed and the bed was very comfortable. The radiators were turned very high which made the room a little hot but the team on reception sorted it out very quickly.

We were upgraded from an Executive room to a Junior Suite - and we had our 2 Rotties with us - and were astounded at the luxury and style. The Emperor style bed was so comfortable, and the bedding high quality. The staff were all really friendly and polite, and smiles all round. Loved the old style lift.

Everything was classy. The whole mood and atmosphere was set to perfection. We were showed to our room. When we entered there was relax music playing natural wild life sounds along side gentle music made with peaceful chimes. The views were beautiful. Breakfast was served in the room. All was absolutely perfect and completely felt elegant and special.
