We were pleased with everything the only problem I had was with the Airport, when we arrived at Aberdeen my Suitcase was broken and peices missing out of it there was a few little items that were missing out of my case too. Other than that everything else was good, I had to buy another case from there to come back with and the Boss kindly disposed of my ruined one for me. We had no idea where to check in. You pull up and the bar looks closed and there are no signs to tell you that a hotel exists there. There are no signs telling you where to go to check in. There is one board with broken plastic and bird poop on it that had images of the rooms but no instructions. We were not given any wifi information and none of the hand sanitizer stations had sanitizer in them. The carpets need to be replaced. They are vacuumed but look very dirty.

The lady who checked us in was very kind and the room was comfortable. The TV had Netflix and Prime capability which was really great!

To get to the room involved walking up through a maze of stairs. No parking at the property, you take your chances with the possible parking places around the place, many of which are monitored by traffic wardens. The bar certainly attracts a certain class of people... not the kind of place I would normally choose to visit if I had any prior knowledge of the place and its clientele. The room also overlooked the Iceland shop across the road, which delighted in taking a delivery at 5.30 am, with pallet trucks rattling around which could be heard all the way at the end of the street.

The bonus for this hotel was its location in the centre of the town. That's about all there was that I could say positive about it.

Upon arriving at my room I had to ask the staff to change the pillow cases as they were dirty, and the rest of the sheets were stained though clean. The mattress was clearly very old as it had a huge dip in the middle of it and I could feel the wooden slats of the bed frame through it. The property also played loud music outside in the beer garden (which my room overlooked) until 1am, so do not stay here if you want to get an early night’s sleep! I paid £70 for the night which was extremely overpriced given the standard of my stay.

The tv in my room had Netflix so I was able to catch up on four hours of Stranger Things while I waited for the music and noise outside to stop so I could go to sleep.

Had no problems with the staff and my stay in general in the hotel was fine, but there was a pair of dirty pants and socks in the drawer 🤢 which is pretty nasty. Otherwise it's a fine wee place in a good location and secure entrance.

The room was above a bar and every night there was a pub full of drunken people. I wanted to complain to booking.com about this because I should not have had to pay what I did the room was terrible and noisy until 3am.

It was a noisy place (it is a bar after all) but I was prepared fir that. The room was comfortable but the position of the bed was awkward and I finished up with bruises on my leg from the number of times I caught it on the hard wooden corner of the bed. Don’t know if it could be repositioned. Finally, the room needed a good clean! Don’t think it had seen a hoover for a few days and sills etc needed a good wipe. I would have passed on these remarks before I left but had late night and an early start the next day so no time to see anyone.

Location was perfect and the one member of staff I dealt with was very good. Tea and coffee in the room and toiletries in the bathroom were handy.

Rooms were musty smelled danp lots of air fresheners around the property. Stair carpet desperately in need of a deep clean. Breakfast not cooked properly most cooked in the microwave. Margarine rather than butter or healthy option. No cereal available. Only full breakfast available.

Noise. The bar got really noisy at night. Teenagers shouting and singing. The entrance to the hotel is through a small alley that runs up the side of the property. When people are coming and going it gets loud. Fraserburgh seems to have an issue with 'teenagers' and this bar appears to be a focal point. I wasn't there at a weekend and wouldn't want to be! Especially with the bar marketing cheap shots. Shame, the room was nice, clean and very comfortable.

Check in was in the bar area, the one bar staff was very busy so this took time whilst bar customers were served.

Fantastic staff - especially Donnatella! Carrying all three of my bags in the one go up all the stairs. Spotlessly clean. Huge room for one. Very comfortable bed. Great location. Thank you!
