It seems recently put on the market, and despite having all the facilities and some extras such as hair dryer, it didn't have drainer for washed dishes and some basics such as salt. The Internet connection failed on the second day, but we didn't call manager or complain, because our mobile network signal was strong and we used our own Internet.

Modern, spacious, felt like home and not far from other locations with all the appliances and creature comforts. It also had First aid box. Would visit again, much better than the photos.

Didn’t like that the fence didn’t go all the way around the back would of been better if it did especially for family’s traveling with toddlers

Probably wouldn't suit people looking for onsite entertainment, as there wasn't any. It suited us as we wanted a quiet girly getaway to just relax. No toilet roll holders, so had to remember to get toilet roll off back of loo before you used it.

The location was within easy reach of places to eat out and explore. Really didn't feel like you were staying in a lodge, as it was furnished well. It made it feel very relaxing and was very well kept. Definitely would return.

Bed wasn't brilliant. The decking is extremely slippery in the rain. Could be dangerous.

    Mattress a bit lumpy.

Self catering in the pod. Shower block excellent. Pleasant surroundings. Near to where my relatives live. People I met on site next to my pod were friendly. Weather was a bonus.

We were told we couldn't us the bunk beds So 2 adults had to sleep in the double Maybe some lodges should have bunk beds and some with 2 rooms with 2 singles beds in Only 1 toilet roll given in each bathroom Need at least 2 rolls per bathroom

The lodge was wonderful, very well equipped Plenty of room for 4 adults party of 4 mums Hot tub was well secluded

We were somewhat disappointed to find there were no freezer facilities as this meant we had to buy fresh food daily which was something we had not planned for as we were only away for the weekend.

We stayed with family to celebrate my wife's birthday and the accommodation was perfect. It was good to have a large secluded garden and we felt we had privacy when using the hot tub. The staff were very helpful and were quick to respond to any queries we had.

It would really be good for there to be some hooks in the pods. A shelf or another small table would be useful. The black out blind was broken meaning it was only down and light could not be let in during the daytime. I notice one of the four pods does not have a bench outside. So just get the feeling a little maintenance and upkeep is required to keep these pods at their best.

I love staying in the glamping pods. The shower block is very clean. It's quiet and comfortable. Inside the pod there is a small kettle and also a heater.

Wanted my son and daughter in law to stay with us, but was told 3rd bedroom not suitable to an Adult (my 23 year old daughter would easily have fitted in the bed)

Nice size, well furnished, great to have 2 bathrooms. Comfortable beds and parking right outside the door

There was no hot water on the evening we arrived and in the morning. This was very disappointing as we were taking part in a 25km charity walk on the South Downs on the Saturday and we could not have a hot shower before.

It was clean, spacious and in a quiet part of the park. We loved the hot tub.

I think the booking could have been clearer. I pre-emoted that we needed to bring bedding but the Q&A said towels would be provided but weren’t and I assumed with a bed would come pillows. It was a springy mattress and not very comfortable but maybe I am expecting too much given the cheap price. The blind cord was missing in my room, there was no bench table outside my pod and I had a small plastic mug whereas in my husband’s pod there were substantial china ones. The toilet/washing facilities would have benefitted from being closer and the pods would have benefitted from some coat hooks as there was space. The WiFi signal did not reach the pods and the cafe was closed.

Lovely peaceful location and the pods seemed brand new. The signage to the site was also very good and the lit up name in both directions very useful on the country roads at night. The kettle was a very welcome facility and the outlook was very nice. Great number of charging points and heating that worked immediately.

Basically I was on slightly a tight budget... ...this being a financially testing time the Planet Earth seems to be going through...@present. From 1 perspective this was good... from a 2nd...not so good... There must be more to life than just 💰

My stay at Chestnut Meadow... ...reminded me very much of 3 months I had stayed in Pennsylvania,USA... ...on a Children's Summer Camp in 1990...
