There was only one thing and that was having to reverse the car onto the parking area from the main rd and then to get back onto the main rd when going out.

An exceptional B&B.The bedroom was at the back of the property overlooking the garden which is one of the best and well kept gardens I have seen in a long time.The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean and spacious.The continental breakfast was excellent withh different changes every day.John and Ginny were lovely people and nothing was too much trouble.We will definitely stay there again when we go back to the Isle of Wight.

Amazing B&B. Stunning house in a great location in Shanklin village. It had a feel of a boutique hotel more than a guest house. Kept spotlessly clean by the owners. Little added extras of lovely soaps & sweet smelling diffuser in the room was appreciated. The continental breakfast was delicious with different fresh fruit /yoghurt each day. An absolutely beautiful garden at the back. Wow a mini Shanklin Chine. Definitely a lovely place to stay

Lovely building, nicely decorated and well kept room. Soft, comfortable bed and lovely touches such as slippers and dressing gowns provided. Nice buffet breakfast that was varied each day of our stay.

Ginny made a very lovely continental breakfast which we prefer. We stayed for 2 nights and both mornings we had something different. John and Ginny left us to enjoy our stay but was around if needed. They were the perfect hosts. The character of the building was truly something else, I could have lived there. We had a room with garden view and was a lovely site when we woke up.

The location of the property is great, just a two minute walk to restaurants. Continental breakfast was lovely, different choice daily. Our room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom had a lovely big shower and there were tea, coffee, water and biscuits on arrival. We really couldnt fault this property and the owners made their home feel so welcoming to us and we enjoyed our morning chats with them.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at this lovely house. Our room was spotlessly clean and overlooked a fabulous garden. Breakfast was a continental buffet that changed every day. There were plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance though book in advance as they get busy even off season. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Lovely continental breakfast but if you want a cooked breakfast the copper kettle cafe is a good alternative.

Beautiful room, very tastefully decorated with a lovely view of the garden. Our hosts John and Ginny were friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to be accommodating. The location was very close to Shanklin village and all its amenities but was very quiet. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Chine Side is a real gem. A beautiful house with off-road parking and just a few yards from the old Shanklin village. Spotlessly clean, all the amenities and facilities of a boutique hotel, excellent hosts Ginny and John, breakfast was perfection and beautifully presented. Will recommend to friends and family and will definitely be returning.

The location in Shanklin is perfect for the village and the amazing back garden is idyllic. The hosts John and Ginny do everything possible to make you feel at home. Breakfast is of a very high standard with a different variety of items every day. Our room was large and spacious with a vast amount of wardrobe and cupboard space. It also overlooked the garden which is spectacular from on high.
