The barn is not detached and is part of a housing complex. The adjacent houses are not holiday homes so we looked out on washing and a lot of plastic furniture. We were disappointed to find that we had very close neighbours so didn't use the outdoor space as we usually do, when the weather is good. We have given a list of maintenance issues to the office, eg replacement light bulbs, bathroom door locks (none worked which was an issue in the bathroom shared between two rooms. Please be aware that there are very few clothes hangers in the three wardrobes and these are free ones and mostly from children's supermarket clothes so useless for adults so take your own. The house is comfortable but generally needs some TLC.

The space was good with two large sitting rooms and a large open plan kitchen diner, which was used as the board games room in the evening. Three bathrooms and a downstairs cloakroom were useful for eight people.

An enjoyable stay in lovely accommodation but some misleading information.

Directions were completely wrong! The instructions on the website and those given by the host on the phone directed us to Moor Farm Stables not Church Farm Barn. Do not go past the church! You need to take the gravel drive which is the first turning on the right, when you turn off the A1067 on to The Street. almost opposite Lawrence Place. Also 1) The barn is in Foxley not Bawdeswell. 2) The play park and lake shown in the photos are a 10 minute walk away. 3) No soap provided. Toilet roll in each toilet would be helpful. 4) We didn't see the host at all and the reception office was closed throughout our stay.

The accommodation was spacious and well equipped. The 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 4 reception rooms, including a well equipped kitchen diner, were ideal for a family group of 8. There is plenty of parking at the property.
