Nothing, we were only on an overnight as we were visiting friends the next day before our main holiday. Is tricky to find, TOM TOM had no idea where it was but Google maps on the phone straight there...

Tricky to find but a gem when you are there. Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. We had the run of the place as we were the only guests that night so pool, hot tub and lounge area all to ourselves. Very relaxing place to be.

Room was a little small

Great location ideal for walking and a getting away from it all. Carol was a lovely host providing a great breakfast to start the day. The shared lounge is very relaxing for the evening and the views from garden (nice patio) across the valley are stunning.

Breakfast was great. Location and country views just wonderful. Swimming pool was just outside our room and also hot tub. We did use both and would have done more so if the weather had been better. The owners were very friendly and we had the use of the lounge with its fantastic views

Just a small thing , but we had difficulty pressing the button to flush the toilet. The mattress was soft for our choice but would be perfect for someone else.

This was a rural location and it suited us just fine. The panoramic view was spectacular with access to the garden and seating was perfect .The hostess was friendly, informative and provided excellent breakfasts in a lovely spacious and bright character dining room. The bedroom and en suite, although not huge, was comfortable and provided all that we required. The bonus was the use of a very comfortable and spacious lounge overlooking the magnificent views. Scrabble and chess games were laid out for use along with books and magazines plus a television. All very homely and comfortable. There was a swimming pool and a hot tub that we were not expecting but both very inviting. Plenty of parking.

It can be a little difficult to locate using the post code. Carol reached out to communicate better directions before I set off which really helped. The shower was a bit snug for me as I am 6'2 and quite a big guy but not the end of the world.

Fantastic hidden gem! The room was very cosy and the view from the window in the morning with the sun rising was beautiful. The heated pool and hot tub was the icing on the cake for me too as I had a long day travelling in the car, a great way to unwind before bed. Probably the best full english breakfast I have had on my travels too, Carol nailed it!

Due to their being no or very little signal for Virgin Mobile, would have been nice to have wifi, but we were not able to connect to the service.

Cleanliness was very poor, carpets dirty and dusty surfaces. Shower water pressure was low.

We didn’t have a bad stay at church lands at all but it certainly requires some updating. Firstly, we did not use the pool as it was quite dirty. Showering after the hot tub (which was great), was an awful experience as there was near 0 water pressure and the bathroom as a whole needs completely updating. The pillows could do with some better investment. The Tv is mounted to the wall fitted facing the door, so we couldn’t watch anything.

Carol was a lovely host, very polite and helpful. The hot-tub was great and very relaxing!

I’m afraid the room and bathroom could have been cleaner. The carpets in both rooms needed a good hoover to remove hair

Fantastic location. We were warmly greeted by Carol and she made us feel very welcome. My son loved the pool, and breakfast was yummy. The B&B is superb and the room had everything we needed. Carol and Terry even got my son a birthday card which I thought was such a lovely gesture. We will definitely be staying again.
