Pete and Heidi have created a very warm and inviting atmosphere at their B&B. I would definitely recommend Chy an Gwedhen for its cleanliness, location and overall comfort.

there was nothing we did not like, my wife likes a bath but we understand that not many can supply baths due to space

the hospitality was second to none, and the atmosphere was always happy and joyful, their knowledge of the area was exceptional and also the other residents was a joy to stay with, the room and bathroom was spotless and smelt lovely, the food was always hot and correct, location was excellent

Such a gem of a place. Heidi and Pete could not be more accommodating. Our room was immaculate and the view was stunning which was such a lovely surprise. Lots of lovely little details, such as an honesty bar and lots of information if you need it. We walked to St Ives along the coast which was beautiful (some pictures added).

Bit of a walk into St Ives. There was a good bus service though and taxis if needed

Breakfast was lovely. Well presented and cooked perfectly. The room was nice and clean. Unlimited tea provided. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful and the location was perfect, the walk wasn't too far to the main town. There is a pub opposite the B&B, the food was awful. I would recommend you save your money and go elsewhere. Tesco is just a cross the road from the B&B which is handy for snacks.

We felt very welcome from the start to the finish of our stay. All of the facilities were amazing and clean and the breakfast was great! It was all very good value for money and the hosts were so friendly and helpful .

Our room was quite small and we didn't have anywhere comfortable to sit apart from the bed. The location of the property was a fair walk into St Ives, however the coastal walk into town was beautiful after long days of walking we were able to catch the bus back up to the property which was a god send. Breakfast was not included in the price, this was an additional option. We did pay extra and have the breakfast, it was reasonably priced and was delicious.

Our room had a beautiful view of the beach/sea. Very nicely decorated room and spotlessly clean. Hosts were knowledgeable of the local area and were very friendly.

Lovely room with a great sea view. Nice friendly hosts and lots of delicious veggie options for breakfast. It's about 20 minutes walk into town, which is all downhill. Lots of buses and taxis are available if you don't fancy the walk back.

The breakfasts were lovely, you were given exactly what you asked for, well cooked and presented. The position of the property was very good, away from the noise and bustle of St Ives. Heidi and Pete were very welcoming and all needs were catered for.

We loved the cosy atmosphere, it was a lovely base to come back to each day. Lots of things were well thought through like lots of cupboard space, space for shoes, help yourself spare tea/coffee etc. The breakfast menu had an excellent range and was beautifully prepared and very good value for money. Heidi and Pete are great hosts and were friendly and accommodating, they clearly love what they do and the lovely business they own reflects that. The room was spotless, warm and super comfy.

clean, well set out, ability of a fridge, easy self top up of tea an coffee items, comfortable bed delicious breakfast with good choice close to bus stop, pub ( which does good meals), supermarket all in easy walking distance friendly owners who communicate well and made arrival easy.
