The water pressure was really poor, only plug sockets was nr the window on an extension lead and the beds weren't overly great. The pillows were really flat. I also felt the room and ensuite needs abit of a refurb and thorough clean. I don't think I'd stay again - not at £72 per night plus £10 for parking from 6pm Saturday leaving at 11am Sunday

I didn't like the fact the shower was in the bedroom however it was clean and comfortable.

I liked that they offered a discount to the parking on the roadside.

It is a basic room but friendly staff and did the job perfectly for one night :) we paid £8 for parking which is considerably cheaper than the tariff on the roadside due to the location, just make sure you have cash for it

There was nothing to dislike, I know it would cost a little more, but if breakfast was included this would go a long way to ensure a longer stay next time we travel to the south coast. Not everyone wants to get up early to start planning where to have breakfast before deciding where we would like to visit on any one day. This being said I would recommend a stay at citadel to my friends.

Central location, easy driving for all locations, Plymouth torbay, (paignton, Torquay, kingsbridge, Salcome. And amazing walks around the south coast)

Norma the landlady was very friendly and welcoming. our room was large and bright and tea and coffee was provided. We got a good night’s sleep each night, and I am a light sleeper. good value for the price paid.

The beds are OK but a little old now.

This is a simple guest house with a great location for the ferry... just 5 mins drive away. Plenty of restaurants around so great for a one night stay. The owner is super friendly and helpful.

Location, a lovely spot and nice old building. So easy to get into town and the hoe. Near to a few nice eateries. A relaxed host. We had no problem with noise and the beds very comfy. Always nice to have an ensuite facility.

Wasn't very clean. Lots of dust on lamps.dirty tissue by the bed. And some 1 's body hair on the bedside cabinet.

Location was good. Staff were lovely. And very honest as left my rings there.and phoned me to tell me so cud go and pick them up.

Some of the facilities rather small and awkward, ie wash basin, kettle. Bathroom door wouldn't shut properly, bolt was broken. Didn't realize that the booking was room only. Especially when the signage outside said B&B. That's misleading. I'm not sure how clear that was on the booking info.

Couldn't figure out how to keep window open for air, chip in toilet bowl (didn't really bother us, as worked fine, but may bother other guests) water pressure in shower was really low and could do with more plug sockets for those with medical equipment (was enough for my sleep app machine, as unplugged lamp, just incase people have more medical equipment). no breakfast option.

Excellent location, close to town, close to Plymouth hoe, amazing Indian restaurant around the corner, everything within walking distance, friendly staff (cleaner and manageress) both helped with explaining parking, safe location to take the children. We would recommend and return.

The shower in the room could have been better, it wasn't very warm or very powerful.

Everything was as expected. Lovely, clean guesthouse in a great location. Owner was very welcoming, and friendly.
