Very quiet and clean

There was no lift, so getting my bags to and from my room was a small challenge, which Nicky helped with my larger 🎒 🛍. Thank you.

Nicky was so warn and welcoming. My room was lovely. A bus stop to town right outside the house. Lots of info on things to do and places to go and where to eat. It was great. I'd definitely stay again next time I'm in town.

Just minor things. We were in room 1. Bathroom - the shower wasn't the most powerful. Perhaps a wee extra shelf beside mirror, or a few hooks behind door. Room - maybe a few coat hooks on the wall, just to add that final touch. Above might be a bit picky, as I said, we would gladly come back again

Room was clean, good size and of a good standard. Met our needs. Have stayed in similar other places and this was just as good. Coded door entry, for which I was texted details by owner / manager. No fuss and all simple, which we like, We didn't require any attention, which we are fine with, but some people may not like not having that personal F2f touch, but for us it was all good. Would gladly come back. Some free parking onsite, but also on road / streets near by. Plenty of shops close by for supplies etc.

Quiet. Simple and good for solo travel. Small room, but with ample facilities. Had parking onsite.

Cleanliness & the fact that guest room has all the facilities such as kettle, hairdryer and all the necessary stuff. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good value for money guest house. Clean and provides all the basic facilities. Location is not by walking distance to the center, but still fine. The bus stops right in front of the door every 30 minutes.

The hot water in the shower was far too hot. Neither of us could stand under it! The shower tray is extremely smooth and slippery.

We wanted a place convenient to the ferry terminal, and this worked for us. Prompt response to booking. Our room was very clean.

The fact that there's no staff on property just guests. But that's just an issue for me as I was a lone nervous female!

Really comfy bed and nice soft fresh white bedding. Fridge, kettle, tea and coffee was a welcomed touch. Plates trays and cutlery incase you ordered in food.Hairdryer supplied as was shower gel shampoo and conditioner. Bus stop into city right outside property is really handy ( No 12A OR 12C) cheaper than a taxi into town which costs £7 . Nicky the host texted me the number for the external door. Which ment i could text her direct if i had any issues.

We had problems checking in as there is no front desk or any staff. You are required to enter with a key code which is sent to you once you call them upon arrival. Unfortunately our international phones would not work and we ran into difficulty getting in. We had to go to a local business and use their phone. Once we contacted the woman in charge she was very helpful however the entire process added another hour to a very exhausting travel day. We also had challenges as our room was on the third floor with no lift. We both have mobility issues and were not expecting this. Not having staff to help with luggage was a very large issue for us.

It was quiet so we were able to get a good night's sleep.
