Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomHosts have great taste in quirky design features, appreciate the thought put into the soft furnishings and kitchen ware. Tiny outdoor space is very sweet, who doesn’t like a coffee or glass of something outside. Attached parking space much appreciated, beds are excellent. The location is great, we easily walked to theatre royal, plantation garden and waterfront venues.

United KingdomJust a suggestion but I think it would be really useful to have more than one set of keys to enable guests to come and go independently. Also, in theory it’s possible to lock yourself in the hallway, as you need the key to let yourself out of the front door! Probably not that likely in reality but worth pointing out.
Comfortable, well equipped and the location is so convenient for exploring Norwich on foot but with the added bonus of a parking space too. Also, very happy to find somewhere central that accepts pets. Sorry we couldn’t get any replacement coffee pods. Weavers Arms just round the corner is great for food and drink.

United KingdomOne bedroom is below ground level without windows, which might initially surprise some people. However, the room is beautifully decorated (as is the rest of the appartment) and very peaceful so not really an issue.
The location is excellent, right on Duke Street just a few minutes walk to the heart of Norwich.Fortunately we were there between Christmas & New Year so the roads were probably quieter than usual anyway, although any noise is limited to the living room and the bedrooms were very quiet at night.

United KingdomTHERE WERE NO DIFFICULTIES OR PROBLEMS WITH THE PROPERTY.
A VERY WELL-PRESENTED PROPERTY ON TWO LEVELS WITH A SPACIOUS KITCHEN, PLEASANT LIVING ROOM AND TWO GOOD-SIZED BEDROOMS WITH COMFORTABLE BEDS. THE HOSTS ARE ATTENTIVE TO THE NEEDS OF THEIR GUESTS ENSURING THAT THE APARTMENT IS THOUGHTFULLY FURNISHED WITH A WELL-EQUIPPED KITCHEN AND ALL MODERN CONVENIENCES SO THAT ONE CAN REALLY FEEL AT HOME. THE PROPERTY IS CLOSE TO THE CENTRE AND THEREFORE IDEAL FOR EXPLORING NORWICH ON FOOT, ALTHOUGH IT ALSO HAS THE ADVANTAGE OF A RESERVED PARKING SPACE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

United KingdomFabulous place. The owners have put an incredible amount of effort into this property. There is a nice collection of eclectic art and photography throughout the property that makes it a really unique place to stay. The property is super clean and everything you need for a short stay is provided and there's some really nice touches, such as when we stayed it was Easter and they'd left an Easter egg hunt around the property. The property is right in Norwich city centre and has parking on-site. If you're looking for a place to stay in this area I highly recommend this property.

United KingdomHonestly can't think of anything that was missing or wrong with the apartment.
Beautiful apartment, exceedingly comfortable, lovely beds, comfy chairs and sofa. beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.. Great place to put your feet up with a cup of tea or a glass of wine after a long day traipsing around Norwich. Great location, literally minutes away from some great restaurants and pubs and a quick stroll back to deposit your shopping when you can't carry any more bags. Everything you need in the kitchen with enough pots & pans etc if you wish to cook and just about everything you could possibly need in the bathroom just in case you have forgotten anything. Add on the parking space within a few yards of the front door and it is the perfect place for a city break. Whilst it is on a fairly busy road there is very little noise, certainly far less then we expected for an apartment this close to the city centre. The 2nd bedroom is in the basement down some steep-ish stairs, so if you have any mobility issues you will need to be aware.
