The only downside of No7 apartment was that it was an attic room and hence no windows other than skylights, such a shame as it was right next to the city wall and had lovely garden area, for the other apartments, I never read this in any reviews, however it didn’t spoil the excellent location. There was a lot of noise from the pub, but earplugs sorted that!!

Fantastic central location. I chose this apartment as I was taking my parents away for a couple of days and my dad now uses a walking stick. I wanted somewhere that was close to all of Yorks amenities for him to be able to walk to, and this apartment was absolutely ideal, less than 10 mins slow walk into all the shops and York Minster Cathedral, The Jorvik Viking Centre and the Golden Tours Sightseeing bus trip.

Steep steps on to the street from the apartments ( not good for older quest and daughter with mobility issues). Noisy equipment in top bedroom (with birds on wall) - poor sleep.

There was some noise from the pub garden to the rear of the property. but nothing that caused any annoyance.

The location was perfect. .The facilties were very good inside the apartment. The check in process was smooth and the instructions given to find the key were very clear. Really useful to have access to the laundry facilities. Communication was clear throughout

There was a pub exactly next door to the apartment and it was extremely loud until later at night and kept myself, my partner and my baby awake with loud banging music. The property should have told us about a loud pub next door

The apartment had everything you could need, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and shower and an excellent kitchen with all the appliances and cutlery. Very lovely and comfortable

The apartment was fab. Clear and concise checking in/ out details. Great 'How to guide' in the apartment. Will definitely stay again and will recommend to family and friends. The location is ideal, the Minster is a 5 minute walk.

I can’t really quote on anything bad, the only thing was that as we were staying in the end apartment we did experience some noise from next door as it was a pub, but it didn’t disturb us in any way, and the property also told us in advance about experiencing noise from there, but it was no bother.

The apartment was extremely clean, it was equipped with everything you may possibly need during your stay. Amazing location as well!

Anxiety about running out of loo roll (no contact from our hosts at all in our time there) - in the end we bought our own. The toilet seat was the wrong size, so slipped about loosely on the bowl, which was very annoying. Would liked to have had a courtesy text or a contact during our stay just to see how we were doing and if anything was needed. As it was we coped, but that would add an extra bit of service to help us out, which would have been appreciated.

Weekend phone line (booking.com I think) weren't able to help when we were searching for the pin number to get into the lock box, however we found it on an email in the end (after a mild panic!!). Mews were somewhat smaller than I had anticipated, but were very practical; clean; comfy and had all that we needed there, including good wifi. Access to the city was a cinch and was an ideal location for my 84 year old In Laws to walk into town.

The property was advertised as having private parking. This had to be paid for separately. The implication was that parking was included. Also I had to make a number of phone calls to obtain the code for the key safe. Could do with small coffee tables in the lounge area.

Very suitable & comfortable for families with teenagers - open space living room with full functional kitchen & dining area; all 3 bedrooms come with ensuite bathrooms. Perfect location... all within walking distance.. Sainsbury, Shambles Market, city centre, City Walls. Private parking.. lots of space. Totally recommended.

The apartment we were in was very close to the pub of which the music was loud in the beer garden until 11.30 at night and you could hear people talking outside too.

Location - All facilities within the apartment - everything catered for from Beverages,milk and toiletries. Towels, hairdryer etc. Apartment was lovely inside.
