Kitchen was amazing, for us anyway, it was large, all high end appliances. Crisp and clean, amazing view with a blooming blossom tree right out side. A Spar across the road, barber within sight, pub only a few doors down, only served pizzas though and was quite, but good pizza,s. Good TVs in all rooms (accept toilet). Dedicated parking space. I would guess 15min walk to town, we ubered it which was around £9 to centre.

Parking availability doesn’t match the size of the booking. We booked the 4 bedroom apartment for 7 people (potentially 10 people) and only provided a single parking space. Unless you are turning up in a mini bus, all other guests have to park at a local public car park at a cost of £18 per night. Needs reviewing.

Nothing really, but think tv in lounge is far too big, so we didn’t use it. Maybe hook for towel in cloakroom.

Property was well located in a great area, 15 minute walk into York centre. Was well laid out with comfy facilities. Great for the group of 8 adults that travelled. There were plenty of glasses, mugs, plates and cutlery as well as seating.

Lovely modern apartment, exceptional standard

Room temperature a bit low for the time of year but small heaters are provided. Only provided one dishwasher tablet. The instructions request we set the dishwasher when checking out so we had to save it so unable to use the dishwasher. We were advised to purchase some ourselves so decided not to use it. We would have also liked some cleaning products (surface cleaner) as it was difficult to clean after cooking. The lack of cleaning products is fine for shorter stays but not convenient when staying for longer periods. There is a large patio door with no blinds meaning you can see clearly into the kitchen and living room from the car park & main entrance. Photo shows view from the outside path. There appears to be a few mentions regarding this in previous reviews dating back to 2021 but not been changed as of yet.

The property (Mad Alice) was clean, cosy and modern. The location is great - 15/20 minute walk into the centre down a straight road. Lovely kitchen with good quality appliances. Great place for a relaxing break.

Having been out all day the apt did not feel overly warm on our return. It was unusually cold for our two days stay and we did abide with the request not to alter the thermostat but it could have been warmer.

V good value for money for 4 people. The option of a sofa bed worked for us. I We had everything we needed.

There was nothing we didn’t like!! It was amazing!

The whole apartment was amazing and so spacious, we definitely liked the fact that we had our own small patio and space to safely lock the car away. It was freezing so the under floor heating was a god send!
