Fran (our host) was courteous, helpful and a lovely lady. The accommodation is beautiful and in beautiful surroundings. Perfect for couples as well as families with up to 2 children. We were greeted in the kitchen with croissants, butter and some lovely strawberry jam as well as all that was needed for a nice hot drink after our journey there. Fran even gave us a wedding card as we stupidly left ours at home. 😘

A well presented comfortable accommodation with everything you needed provided for. The host Fran was easily contactable and we were welcomed with provisions of milk, butter, jam, croissants, crumpets and chocolate biscuits which was a lovely surprise.

I should have stayed for longer

Fantastic place to stay. Lovely host. Great setting. Not sure why one would wish to stay anywhere else, if one wishes to visit the Surrey Hills. Better than I expected, and I expected a lot.

I had trouble finding the building. I arrived in the dark while it was raining. But the host was quick to assist.

The room was comfortable and spotless. Although I didn't use it, there was a small kitchen which appeared to be well stocked with utensils and other items.

Kitchen space was limited but as we planned 'one-pot' cooking it wasn't a problem for our few days' stay. No shaver point in bathroom and sink/tap arrangement made it difficult to wet-shave - and clean teeth!

Loved the privacy of the annex and cosy bed - slept very well. Off-road parking. Close proximity of Little Frensham Pond - an attraction we hadn't planned to see but so glad we made the effort to walk from the accommodation.

Despite a few niggles we enjoyed our 4 night stay and would return.

A few minor niggles - awkward sink/tap in bathroom, the cottage was cold when we arrived and needed to contact owner re putting the heating on. She responded quickly to the issue. Would have liked more info on site e.g. on disposal of rubbish - particularly recycling facility, highlighting extractor fan in kitchen - we didn't find it until the morning we left.

Loved the privacy - tucked away from the road. Pleasant decor and nice outdoor space. Comfy bed - slept very well.

We had a lovely stay at the Coach house, the building is lovely with nice decor and everything you need. There was fresh bread, butter and a selection of food for breakfast, it was all very nice. It's convenient with parking and there are pubs nearby to eat. The owner was helpful and good with communication.

Perfect countryside location for a gorgeous long weekend

A small thing, but as we were going to a wedding, would have been having a full length mirror near to a plug socket for purely vanity purposes (doing my hair and makeup)

We really loved the quaint and picturesqueness of the property, Fran was an excellent host who couldn't have done more to welcome us! It has great facilities and nice touches such a board games and smart TV (of which we enjoyed a game of scrabble and football). We also loved how close the property was to the ponds for walks and running :)

    Nothing, all above expectations

Lovely country private settling, with everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Made feel welcome by Fran and shown where everything was. Private contained coach house attached to a main house with loads of extra touches . Candles soft furnishings, well equipped kitchen and stunning decor. Excellent private courtyard for your own use. Fran kind, left muesli , pastries,, tea coffee, milks, butter and jams for us. A beautiful setting surrounded by beautiful woodland and near the little pond..nearby spar and village pub. Would highly recommend.
