The toilet (Men's) hand dryer was not working throughout our stay; hand towel provided ran out and floor became wet.

We had a sea view on the 3 Floor; and were also able to use a lift which was a help when transporting our suitcases. A lovely sea view.

Room 307 only has a plastic bifold door which does not give much privacy when in use if you get my drift.

The bathroom door didn’t fit the frame properly so had to be pulled hard in order to shut which often resulted in a loud bang which was not ideal during the night.

It was a lovely comfortable stay for the price paid. The location was excellent with roadside parking directly outside (usually a free space available at night) with a pay and display car park a 100 metres away. The evening entertainment was good and the bed was comfortable.

Our room was small, curtains from the '70s but all clean. Went on a weekend when international rugby was on so the bar was full of rowdy locals during the day, they disappeared in the night because only residents get served after 7.

We've stayed here before, an old and clean hotel with a nice bar and evening entertainment aimed at the over 70s. They allow pets so our dog was happy. Hotel is right on the sea front with a small bar across the road and overlooking the sea.

Bath towels very small (more like hand towel). Quite noisy at night as walls and doors very thin - had to ask reception for ear plugs as was kept awake one night by drunk adults (older adults not teens) singing in the corridor and hearing someone vomiting in the room next door. Being by the lift did not help as lots of activity outside my door. Attention to detail could be better, for example raising the height of the full length mirror so you could stand in front of it rather than sitting.

Fantastic location. Clean. Well stocked tea/coffee. Parking nearby for reasonable price (just be mindful that carparks can get very busy by the afternoon on a sunny day!). Reception team and cleaning staff very polite and welcoming.

Stunning sea front central, yet quiet, location. Vintage look hotel which would benefit from a face lift, but spotlessly clean and functional, comfy bed, basic walk in shower, much safer than shower over the bath, non slip floor in bathroom, good sized tv, tea and coffee facilities, lift. The hotel does seem to be geared towards older people, in fact most were older couples on coach tours. Quiet back garden or front beer garden overlooking the sea to relax and have a drink. Breakfast and meals also available. No frills but it does what it says on the tin!

Breakfast was available at an extra cost but reasonably priced and an excellent standard. Plenty of choice and very tasty. The hotel is in a wonderful location overlooking the fantastic beach. The staff were very friendly.
