Very fast traffic on road outside but this isn’t something the owners can do anything about!!

Everything but especially the hot tub and lovely dog friendly garden. Oh and cottage was superb, well furnished kitchen and so all new and clean. Lovely location for cliff walks.

I know this can't be helped but the only thing for me was the road outside, there are no pavements so everytime we wanted to go a walk we would have to take the car and park up, not great if you like an alcoholic beverage with dinner as I like going a walk later at night with the dog but couldn't do this as it was a bit precarious to walk on the road.

Everything! Lovely cosy cottage with the log fire. Was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was a great bonus. Host Angie was lovely. Dog loved the garden as it was all enclosed so we didn't have to worry about him escaping.

Beautiful location, everything we could need was provided, hot tub and garden are fantastic, beds are really comfortable, wood-burning stove makes it really cosy. Just fantastic all round!

The quiet location was relaxing and peaceful, the garden is very secure which meant peace of mind that dogs couldn’t escape….they could go in and out as they pleased. Plenty to see within a short distance. Visited Lunan bay beach, definitely worth a walk there. Coastline near the cottage stunning. Cottage well maintained and had all we needed for a long weekend. Plan to book again

What a fantastic 3 night stay.... excellent location with stunning scenery and walks. The cottage is clean, cosy, and just so peaceful with EVERYTHING you need for your stay. The hot tub is an added bonus, especially after a long day walking along the costal paths and beaches. We also enjoyed watching the bats playing and feeding in the garden it was a spectacular show they put on for us each evening. We will most definitely be back!!!!

Beautiful cottage! For us, the remoteness and peaceful surroundings were everything we needed. Away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life, but close enough to town to pop and buy essentials. Lots of beautiful places to explore only a short drive away, lovely walks along the coastal path.

Country road outside but cars go past so fast which is scary walking with dog.

Loved everything, cosy and clean and everything you need. Hot tub was great and back garden secure for letting my dog run about, which he loved!

A wonderful place to stay for a weekend. We spent amazing time with friends. There is a hot tub and spacious garden. The kitchen is nice and equipped. There is even a dishwasher. Highly recommended.

Nothing, apart from our phone provider (3) not covering the area, hee haw to do with Cliff Walk cottage but once connected to the Wifi all good.

A fantastic cottage with everything you need. Plenty of space for the four of us and our dog. Both bedrooms were comfortable with all the bedding and towels you'll need. The living room was spacious with a cracking fire so nice and cosy after long dog walks. The Kitchen was well appointed, the wee extras like coffee, tea and biscuits were a nice wee touch. The secure garden was great for the dog and the hot tub an amazing bonus for us all. So peaceful every night! Highly recommended and Angie is a fantastic host

The beds are hard & really uncomfortable for us - this was our second stay though, so we brought our own mattress topper this time (although it says a lot that we liked the cottage so much - and it suits us for visiting family in Arbroath - that we returned regardless of the beds). Also, allow an extra 5 minutes, maybe at 10 degrees higher, for the oven to cook your dinner.

Location great for us (a couple) to stay with our large-ish dog. The property has a large enclosed garden, with lovely coastal walks on the doorstep. It is warm, well equipped and quiet. Also, maintained to high cleanliness standards. It really is lovely and a home-from-home. Wi-fi is good. Netflix & Amazon both available on the tv. This was the second time we have stayed here and we will return again ... both times we have visited we have commented on how nice it would be to downsize & live here. We love it. The owners are really helpful, on our first visit (before the higher fences were installed) they came and helped us build up the height of the stone wall with hardwood logs to stop our dog being able to see (& be tempted to jump) over. Obviously this was taken on board & higher fence panels are now in place.

Not really a negative, but there is nothing on your doorstep (shops etc) so you need to drive to everything. We wanted peace and quiet so suited us perfectly, you just need to plan ahead a bit!

Really beautiful cottage in a peaceful location, with the most gorgeous, dog friendly garden. Handy for walking and running,especially along the cliffs. The owners were really helpful and quick to respond to any queries. The cottage was spotlessly clean.
