Amanda the host was lovely...the room had everything I needed...the views were fantastic and getting around the island by bus was very good, just made sure that I had downloaded app for the buses...easy to navigate times of buses.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely and quiet surrounding. Place was clean and cozy. Nice breakfast with local products. Outstanding selection of drinks. Huge garden at the back with sitting area. There is a bus stop outside the property so you can leave your car and go anywhere by public transport. Local pub nearby about 10 min walk.

This was probably the best location I have stayed in the IOW. It is very well located for walking, a quiet location but also has a bus stop outside. Spacious and well equipped room, very good shower and continental breakfast. Uou are free to come and go unobtrusively. Would happily return.

Very clean, comfortable and with everything you need for a short stay. The host, Amanda, is friendly, helpful and provides a great continental breakfast with plenty of choice. The property is in a quiet location with good views across the garden and fields with a good pub nearby.

I treated my husband to a Birthday treat away just the two of us. The Old Ningwood Station caught my eye, the location and everything about the place was so beautiful. Amanda was a lovely host. So very kind and helpful and friendly. Amanda suggested the pub to us for dinner on arrival.,The Horse and Groom Pub. She kindly offered to book us a table as the pub gets busy. The food was delicious and and the atmosphere was very friendly and buzzing with lots of happy people. The room we stayed in was spotless. With fresh towels, shower gel and all the other added bits like an ironing board and hairdryer etc. The eye to detail was excellent and also the breakfast Station with added cereals teas and coffee's, with yummy fresh goodies in the fridge. From butter to HB eggs, ham cheese and bread to have some toast in the morning. Jam and marmalade just everything was perfect. Cutlery, plates mugs kettle herbal teas and hot chocolate. Everything was just perfect and more, we both felt right at home. It was lovely and quiet all night, we woke to bird song and a lovely sunrise in the morning over looking the countryside. Amanda also let us stay longer in the morning, just to chill and enjoy. Nothing was to much trouble. Amanda, thank you for such a lovely stay we will most certainly be back again. You made our stay perfect thank you so much 😊 x

We thought it was lovely and what we were looking for. A beautiful part of the IoW, too.

Breakfast was provided and self-serve. There was a deck to the lovely garden where you could sit with a country view. Plenty of choice and, of course, you didn't have to be limit to breakfast time. Th room was spacious, airy and comfortable; the ensuite shower room was modern with an excellent shower. This was a countryside property, very quiet and quite dark which ideally suited us. You could walk in the garden and look at the old train platform and track, which was an interesting feature of the Old Station. Amanda was welcoming and hlpful.

Not that it mattered, but the tv didn't appear to have basic ITV/BBC but that may just be because it was too technical and modern for us !! It certainly did not spoil our stay.

We were greeted by our host Amanda and shown to our room. It was a good size with an integral ample bathroom with twin headed shower. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choice of bread and rolls, cereals, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs and fruit. There was several different teas, coffee, hot chocolate and orange juice. Something for everyone. It is in a fantastic location, especially for train enthusiasts. Would definitely stay again if coming to the Island.

Continental breakfast was fine and not a criticism but it might be helpful to ask what items the customers require (a short menu) the next day to avoid restocking items that aren't used.

Beautiful peaceful location in the IOW countryside based in a disused railway station - lovely garden to walk in and plenty of cows in nearby fields - a great base to explore the Island from. Very friendly with local knowledge of here to eat etc and plenty of parking. We also liked the emphasis on environmentally friendly practices.

The personal touches. Amanda is a perfect host, warm and friendly and never intrusive. The accommodation is wonderful, spotlessly clean and really comfortable. Breakfast in the room works really well, lots of choice. Loved our visit and will highly recommend to friends and anyone going to the Isle of Wight.
