Everything- absolutely 5 star accommodation. Quality bed linen, decor, furnishings, equipment etc. Hosts were lovely people. Location to everything in Alnwick was fabulous - 5 min walk into the centre and also near The Gardens. Next door to Lidl for any shopping needs.

David and Bev were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. The Tack room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean, with a private entrance. The breakfast choice was wonderful and fresh and set us up for the day. The location was quiet and within walking distance to the town. A gem of a B&B in Alnwick.

Could not find any fault at all or anything that could be improved related to our accommodation, treatment or involvement with our hosts. For our part there was nothing about our short stay at The Coach House that we would suggest could be improved. If we return to that area again we would certainly book a stay at the Coach House without hesitation.

Whole experience was beyond our expectation. We were met by our very friendly hosts as if we were long standing family friends. Weather and journey had been appalling but thankfully we were welcomed into David and Beverly's home and they took care of everything to enable us to settle in and relax while they attended to our luggage and provided us with refreshments and cake and did everything to make us feel very special and very welcome. Once settled in and established they gave us a guided tour of our accommodation explained everything, enquired if we needed anything and asked if there was anything they could do to make our stay more comfortable. They were excellent company yet managed to strike a balance and give us our own space when required. Best short holiday experience we have had yet. Thank you.

David and Bev were the perfect host's and hopefully we will be able to return in the future. Very good selection for breakfast,room done out to a very high standard with underfloor heating in the bathroom and in a very quiet location but only a short stroll to the centre of Alnwick

Absolutely nothing, except having to leave!

Everything! Bev and David are extremely welcoming; their home is beautiful, perfectly located for walking into Alnwick and up to the Castle and Gardens. Breakfast is fresh and more than adequate, we didnt need lunch! The smoked salmon is brought in from Seahouses and is delicious. Jimmy is an added bonus, an adorable Cocker Spaniel!

Nothing at all. Customer service excellent. We enjoyed our three night stay very much and would recommend the Tack Room at the Coach House to all.

Excellent breakfast with so much choice. All requests cheerfully met. Your food is brought to your room which was a treat. David met us on the Lane and showed us where to park. We left the car and walked into Alnwick which is literally on the doorstep so the location was great for us. The room has beautiful decor and a comfy settee to use. No road noise and good black out blinds. Beverly and David were wonderfully helpful and friendly offering advice on where to go to eat in the town, which we took.

Nothing to dislike.

The Tack Room was superbly decorated & appointed. It was a bonus to have full kitchen facilities. The shower room was fabulous & spotlessly clean. The hosts David & Beverley were attentive without being intrusive & Jimmy the Spaniel was a delight. The breakfast menu was extensive & dietary requirements were met. All items on the menu were delicious & of excellent quality.

Great bedroom , beautiful bathroom, superb breakfasts. Cake and biscuits demolished by us ! Few minutes walk into town centre , bus stops are nearby. We came by train to Alnmouth and made trips locally by buses . Great hosts and helpful advice on places to go and restaurants. Thoroughly recommend the Coach House 👍

The place was faultless, spotlessly clean, comfy bed and in a great location.

Everything about the accommodation was first class. Dave and Bev are fantastic hosts. They were so welcoming and had tea and cake ready for us on arrival. The Tack Room where we stayed was immaculate and couldn't be faulted in any way. The breakfast selection was unbelievable and delicious. We would not hesitate to book here again. We can't wait to go back.

Nothing - it is really the best place to stay when in Alnwick as a couple who want pampering and peace and quiet.

The Groom's Loft is like a little apartment all to itself. It's own private staircase on to a landing where a table is set for breakfast. A mini fridge with milk and tea and coffee making facilities are located there, plenty to choose from. Glasses for wine etc are also provided. Fantastic spacious bathroom with large bath, separate double shower and a plentiful supply of luxuriously soft towels, beautifully decorated. Toiletries are also provided. Bedroom/living room provides a comfortable retreat. Plenty of storage space for belongings, comfy sofa and tv. The accommodation is so quiet. Only a few minutes from Alnwick town centre and all its amenities. Breakfast is a delight. Exceptional choice brought to you at a prearranged time to your breakfast area overlooking their walled garden, an absolute joy. Finally, the hosts, David and Beverley (and Jimmy the dog) are wonderful. You feel welcome even before you arrive with a courtesy call to check arrival time and to confirm directions etc. When you are there, you instantly feel at ease and very welcome. They are a fountain of knowledge about the area and are genuinely a fantastic couple.
