Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

beautiful room, situated near old town, perfect location. Bed was a little hard, and could have done with a small fridge other than that the facilities and room were great. Nicole was very thorough with direction etc and was only a call or text away.

United KingdomWe had a room on the 2nd floor and although it wasn't a problem for us, I would recommend anyone with significant mobility issues requests a ground floor room as there isn't a lift.
Great central location. Very clean. Well organised room with lots of storage for your clothes. Lovely welcome packs of tea, coffee and biscuits which were replenished on request. Shower was fabulous too. Great communication with the owners and the key/code arrangements were all provided in advance, very simple but secure process which was easy to follow. Would definitely book again!

United KingdomPlease be aware there is no lift at this property so all the rooms are up a flight or two or stairs. This is the only downside to this property.
We've stayed in this property a number of times and have stayed in a different room each time and we can honestly say every single room so far has been wonderful. The location is fantastic. There is a car park within a short walking distance (which you have to pay for), but which means you haven't far to carry your suitcase to the property. The rooms are well appointed and beautifully furnished. The inclusion of the availability of free wifi on this visit was a massive bonus as it allowed us to check out local events that were taking place from the comfort of our own room, making planning our activities that much easier.

United KingdomLike previously mentioned the only downside for the price was the parking but again you can't hold it against Nicole.
It was very clean, very comfortable and very warm. Very central location. Being a local I know the downside of parking is annoying, and recommended you don't test the traffic wombles, there a pain. But that's the only issue and is out of the owners control. Very quiet warm comfy night. Plenty of very hot water and shower was powerful and very good, and WiFi was excellent, excellent value for money. Reason for staying was a night out and meal, as taxis in area to take us home onto the moors would have been far more expensive than staying the night. Will definitely be staying again if available. United KingdomHaving to wait outside in the rain waiting for a code only to be told that it had been cancelled. Tried ringing booking.com and went to answer phone . We book a lot of trips with this company and were disappointed that they didn’t even get back to us . In the end we got in touch with the owner to let us in . I had to prove my booking and also that it had gone out of my account . 👎🏻 a call back or an email would have been good . Thanks Gary
