If you have heavy luggage would take a bit of walk as you need to go around a block rather than many stairs to get to the hostel. But it’s worth it

Just amazing much better than expected. Economical choice at the same time getting your own privacy in individual pod with curtains and comfortable bed and linen, very clean hostel and bathrooms and toilets are regularly cleaned. Luggage locker provided (no padlock required), 2x shoe spaces, assigned cloth hook on the wall and in individual pod, USB socket (no power point in pod due to regulation). Kitchen is well equipped. Reception friendly. Close to many restaurants and shops. Hostel also offer free city walk which was fun!

pictures on the website do not match the reality, completely different rooms. unbearable ventilation noise all the time including during the night and freezing cold room without heating when it's 5C outside at night, unrefundable towel rent £3, you can buy a new one at poundland for £4

perfect location, clean and comfy beds, free lockers before and after check in, nice showers with good preassure, spacious kitchen. take advantage of their free city tours and fun events in the evenings in the lobby.

It was quite a compact hostel, so limited space and the rooms didn’t seem to get a vacuum/clean daily.

There weren't any paper towels in the bathroom. I had to dry my hands with toilet paper.

Great location literally round the corner from the pubs, restaurants, and shops. Friendly staff and wonderful breakfast in a cozy common area. Cozy pod in the spacious courtroom that afforded complete privacy.

It was my first time ever sleeping in a hostel, I would have juste appreciated the whole check-in part with someone not talking too fast, I got lost trying to find my room, then again looking for the bathroom ! But very pleased anyway !

Everything was modern, clean, the lockers are perfectly sized, the pods are really comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, comfy... And the whole place smells really nice like Lush soap 😄

The kitchen dining is kind of small and the sitting area is small.

It is great , clean and since it separates the female and male toilet and bathroom - it is safer and cleaner.

The host was very friendly if you needed anything he was there and helped. The property itself is beautiful as well. It is clean and the pods are comfortable. You do have anything you need (shower, beds, heating and a kettle) The nights can get cold but if you have a good sleeping bed it’s fine.

The only thing I didn't like so much was the fact that it was only possible to buy things at the reception with a card. They didn't accept any cash money, but that is something that seems to be common in the whole country.

I've been staying in many hostels so far but I have to say that this one is the best I've ever seen. The staff is amazing and always willing to help. They offer a bunch of activities like free walking tours or different drink tastings. The design of the hostel is so beautiful. In the community area you can basically always meet someone and the breakfast is also very nice. I had a room with ten of these sleeping pods and they were also very comfortable. You had some privacy while you also didn't bother your roommates if you had the light on in your pod. When I come back to Edinburgh I will definitely stay there again.

Fantastic baked goods & coffee. You can’t ask for a better location, especially to keep everything walkable in ten minutes or less. Can’t beat walking out to the cathedral or being on the royal mile, either. Super clean & updated.

Just in my floor some bathroom doors didn’t lock properly.

Everything! Bed was so comfortable, pillows and duvet were fluffy. The room has a nice distribution. Location is excellent, is just in the centre. Bathrooms were clean and enough, most of the time was the only one using the bathroom so felt pretty comfortable using facilities.

Bed was a little cramped for me being a bigger guy, but it was fine.

Amazing location, awesome staff, and great facilities. The building is pretty cool, and has some history behind it, especially the downstairs/underground part.
