Couple bits: the little room with the twin beds is super light in the mornings so bring an eye mask, no tongs in the kitchen, a side table in the main bedroom would be amazing for brews in the morning & it’s very warm!

So cosy, clean and welcoming a little house! It contains everything one would need! The kitchen is particularly well equipped, allowing proper food to be cooked easily. The location is perfect too, close to a couple of small supermarkets.

Nothing. I can suggest to have sheep skins fot the main bedroom floor, because it would be nice to land in the morning in warm and soft carpet.

I liked the fact that the house was decorated for the Christmas season and it felt like home. We enjoyed playing games in the evening. The location is excellent, just 10 minutes walk from the centre. The house is very clean and warm. Definitely recommended.

The house is comfortable, convenient, decorated with great style and fully equipped with everything you could possible need to make a home from home. Amazing location right in the heart of the city and easy walking access to lots of great shops, places to eat and beautiful Rowntree Park. The hosts were easy to contact and incredibly helpful and provided great service. We travelled with 3 young children and found it very accessible and easy, with travel cot, highchair and children’s plates, bowls and cutlery.

The house was very clean ,comfortable & so well equipped. Every detail regarding what you might need had been thought of, even down to spare umbrellas which we gratefully made use of! For our party of 4 the cost was half what the cheaper hotels would have been. Highly recommend it.

The house is in an ideal position near to the Barbican and city centre. It is well equipped and spotlessly clean with comfy beds and is in a nice quiet area. We will stay here again.

Only thing that could b improved on is altering the bathroom door due to havin a glass panel in it ,we had to place a towel over the door to make it private.Also couldnt find a tin opener

The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need in order to be comfortable. It was nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable, the shower was amazing and the kitchen was well supplied. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise as well

The location was great, just off Bishy Road, two good pubs and a chippy, less than a scenic ten minute walk to York centre, two minutes to the river, the house has everything you could possibly want in terms of facilities and equipment, a nice little yard with seating area, lovely and homely, loved it, would defo stay again
