The email about the security code didn't come through so we had to call the owner but she answered quickly and was happy to run through everything with us so that wasn't that bad. The location isn't very central but we knew that when we booked. The people in the neighbouring room were quite loud but that can't be helped and isn't the fault of the owner as it is just rooms in a house. The only real complaint that could be made (and it's a comfort thing on our part) is that it would have been nice to have more pillows.

The house was like a home from home and we were instructed that we could use any of the shared facilities which were well kept and pleasant enough to use and well stocked. It was nice to stay somewhere with good facilities.

The shared facilities were a little odd, especially as the toilet is set on it's own in a separate room from the sink and shower. It was a shame that the only key for the front door is in a lockbox outside at all times, and it's difficult to get into at night without a light source.

It was close enough to walk to the centre, plus close to some nice green areas. Very quiet area at night, comfy bed.

The only issue I had with the property was the front door. The door we found was quite difficult to unlock and open; which caused us to ask someone else in the property to open the door for us from the inside. They also said they found it difficult to open the door too.

The property was lovely to stay at for the night. The room was kept very minimal and clean, which was nice. It was nice to have a kitchen for use if needed and somewhere to sit and eat and drink. The owner was very attentive. Thank you for a nice stay! :)

Annoyingly on this occasion was a guest who tended to monopolize the delicate shared balance of the facilities for their own sake, parking themselves in the back garden and incessantly present literally from dawn to well past dusk. This was during a period of some moderately warm weather, on the excuse it was too hot indoors, despite everyone else residing in their own rooms, such that it was impossible to use the toileting facilities. This was an example of simple inconsideration. It is a one off, hopefully not to be repeated , as it spoilt the facility of the property , but only on this visit, of the numerous visits I have made and met considerate people, It will not stop me from giving the property the fullest and fulsome praise it deserves

The usual excellent facilities available in the property with the comforts of home. kitchen and fridge facilities.

It works as a self check-in which we needed as we were arriving on the later side and most places don’t facilitate check-in after a certain time. Jane was very good on explaining the check-in procedure. Also had plenty of parking around the area.

It did the job of giving me accommodation near my grandchildren. The place was clean and comfortable. I found another duvet in a cupboard as I would have been cold. The TV didn't work on more than 1 channel. 8

There was nothing that I didn't like.The area was quite .Which is a good thing for workers.

I was lucky that nobody else was in the property so it was very quiet It was a 10min walk to the shop and a couple of takeaways ideal

The heating turned off at every evening at the coldest point of the night so the room was freezing. Also the plug at the end of the bed didn't work so could turn on the lamp or TV.

The use of the tea/coffee facilities. Also a nice cheap place to crash when working away from home.
