Too warm. Air conditioning in room did not work properly. Felt like a sauna when you walked in the building. This coupled with an uncomfortable bed and mattress meant we had little sleep over the 2 nights we stayed.

For the price, the bathroom facilities were poor. No hot water from the sink, and to get the shower hot, the water pressure suffered and it came out very weakly. The windows are looking out onto the entrance, but if you have the curtains open everyone can see you, so felt like we had to have our curtains closed a lot, which defeats the point of the view

We waited 40mins for our cooked breakfast We received apologies from the 2 breakfast staff & the manager Felt there was little coordination between them When it did arrive the breakfast was ok but bore little resemblance to what we had ordered & items we wanted

Breakfast was limited to a full English unless you paid a £6 supplement for every other dish.. The bar charged 12% service charge to deliver drinks 5 steps away..

Very scruffy terrace area. The table needs a VERY thorough clean. The window and door frames badly need painting. The peeling paint doesn’t befit the Compleat Angler.

The room was very tired in appearance and quite simply did not feel like a quality hotel. The bathroom had mold on the grouting in places and gave a feeling of disappointment that I would not expect at a McDonald's Hotel, I have stayed here before but probably would not again.

The staff, to a person, were first class. They were welcoming friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, the food was excellent and the public areas were very pleasant.

More attention needed to cleaning - bathroom bin was left full of something unpleasant. Toiletries a little sparse - no shower gel for example. Tea & coffee in room also not enough, although more was provided on request.

Location was excellent. Next to the river and easy walk into Marlow. Large car park. Nice terrace and garden overlooking river. staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely location! Nice outdoor are for relaxed drinks by the river . Great views for breakfast and from the room. Parking was also easy. Enjoyed a meal at the restaurant too and a nice morning walk along the river.

easy to upgrade bedrooms on arrival, the super deluxe was a lovely big room with nice view. all staff were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. dinner in the Riverside restaurant was very good

The bathroom was a little tired, and the breakfast wasn't very good, ours was included in the price but if I had to pay the £26 I would've been very unhappy, the porridge was like milky soup and the English breakfast was bland and too oily.

The location was superb, the dinner was excellent, and the staff were very good, but, the most outstanding part was the service from Hulya, she was so attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we've travelled to many hotels but I believe Hulya was the best I've ever experienced.
