    Nothing.

Nice room, inside the conference building in a quiet area on campus ground. Building consists of conference rooms, a bar-cafeteria, a restaurant and a hotel. About 15 minutes walking from Moor Street and New Street stations. Shops and cafetarias within 1-5 minutes walking. City centre about 10 minutes walking away.

Wash basin in bathroom is too small and awkward for wet shaving.

Spacious restaurant with personal service at buffet counter for breakfast. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Not much, but my room was sooo hot, even with the windows open. Just a little dated.

Lovely reception staff. Great communication. Clean room and comfy bed. Excellent food in the restaurant within the hotel, locally sourced and considerate about dietary needs. Staff in the restaurant and conference facilities were amazing.

The only thing I didn't like was the location of the hotel itself, it was quite a distance from the coach station and with the building work going on it wasn't the easiest place to get to. Another thing I wasn't fond of was the location of my room, it was a bit of a walk to get to, but it was easy to find.

I loved the room, it was clean, spacious and had everything you could need for a short stay. The toilet and shower were adequate and clean. The bed was comfy and pleasant to sleep in. I only stayed one night but would definitely think about coming here again.

No usb charging ports and I don’t think there was any way to control the room temperature.

Clean and comfortable room. I requested a room with a bath and was kindly upgraded to a larger room which had one. Staff were very helpful and let me borrow a charger.

Probably that I didnt stay longer. Oh hubby has a lower limb amputation. Was not able to use bath without help. The room we were in has bath length shortened by bit of a wall. Hard to get his leg swung in. He dont always want to ask about disabled room because mostly they have a shower only.

The staff are an asset to the hotel cannot complement the staff highly enough. Could do with a Big sign on the building with Hotel name. Having Fibromyalgia your matresses were close to mine. I actually slept well.... never happens in most hotels for me.

Might not suit everyone who likes to lounge around a hotel but for a convenient stopover, it was great.

Brilliant location within Aston University campus. Perfect for our campus trip but also good central location at good value. Great buffet breakfast too.

I was really looking forward to having a swim but it was closed. This was the main reason for booking.

I was lost and in pain as I presently have a physical disability but the ladies at reception were so patient and kind guiding me on the phone to the hotel which I struggled to find but one of them actually came out to meet me. I was so happy and relieved and wished I wrote their names down so they can be recognised and awarded somehow for their kindness.

The one drawback is access and parking arrangements if you are driving as the on-site carpark 12 is not free and quite a good walking distance away when you have a lot of luggage (which I did), so this means multiple trips back and forth. The directions to the carpark also did not align with Google Maps or the Sat Nav which was confusing. Maybe something to take up with Google Maps.

The room was well appointed, clean, comfy bed and quite a good size. It included everything you need for a comfortable stay and what made things better than elsewhere is the mini fridge inside the wardrobe. It was also quiet with access to a water dispenser in the lift area on each floor. Access to the bedrooms' corridor through the room key card also ensure safety. The staff were all lovely and helpful and the food at the restaurant was very nice with cooked breakfast cooked on demand (no horrible powder scrambled egg). The restaurant was fairly peaceful with good arrangement for breakfast (even with a very large group of teenagers on day 1). Walking distance to the centre, on the Moor street station side. Would definitely use again.
