Very limited storage space, though as accommodation is quite small this is understandable. There was space for suitcases under the bed so clothes could be kept in the case. However, this was not suitable for the type of bag we used. Limited space to put stuff in the kitchen which was fine for a weekend but we would have struggled to find room for everything had we stayed a week. A bread knife would have been handy and larger cups or mugs.

Location was good for walks. Being environmentally minded accommodation was perfect for us being on an organic farm, with a compost toilet too. Liked the clever use of old tyres recycled into containers for plants. Accommodation clean and had most things we needed.

Not much of a negative, but would have liked a bug net in the cabin or a form bug prevention to have the ability to leave the cabin doors open. We slept with the doors open due to the heatwave

Location perfect for exploring the Kerry Ridgeway, Offa's Dyke and Shropshire Way which are all nearby. Cosy little hut with separate kitchen area. Cute farm animals as neighbours including two llamas. My second visit here and would go again. Solo traveller felt very safe. Peace and quiet, away from all the stress.

Nothing to not like, pictures don't do the place justice! Only recommendation would be for some guidance / step by step instructions in the manual on starting and keeping the log fire going 🙈 (from 2 young city girls!!)

This place was picture perfect, it was exactly what 2 city girls needed for a break away! Like a little glamping trip, being on the farm and having the animals close by was wonderful. The views were incredible and hospitality was exceptional. We will definitely be back and couldn't recommend highly enough

The only thing to be wary of is the route you take as it is in a very, very remote location! Our sat nav took us through single track roads for about 45 minutes. This can be a plus for some people who really want to get away from it all, but if you are concerned about navigating narrow, hilly country roads and potentially scratching your car etc. it's just something to be aware of. Also in colder months (we stayed in November) worth being aware that the shower is in a separate block to the shepherd's hut itself, so may get a bit chilly getting changed etc. with not much room to put your clean clothes but I'm sure that in warmer weather conditions this is not an issue at all.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, explained everything very efficiently and brought us extra matches when we needed them. Very tranquil location, zero light pollution so stunning views of the night sky on a clear night. Cosy little shepherd's hut with views of the rolling countryside. Eco-friendly composting toilet which was easy to use. Good sized kitchen, well equipped with an electric oven, kettle, toaster, mini fridge and gas hob. Wi-Fi worked well enough for our needs, we were able to stream Netflix/Amazon Prime perfectly well. Wood burner was the only source of heating, with plenty of fire wood and kindling, worked very well for us and kept us very cosy.
