There was absolutely nothing that we didn’t like about our stay at Corrie House. Exceeded expectations

Wow! Outstanding location. Blown away by the views and added bonus of sitting in the hot tub while taking in the absolutely beautiful vistas. The room we stayed in was beautiful. Very comfortable and clean and fantastic panoramic views. Breakfast and dinner was to a very high standard. Great value for money and the hosts, Roger and Sally were super attentive to both our needs. Made us both feel so welcome. Took time out of their busy schedules to ensure we had everything we needed and gave us some great local knowledge to help us plan activities during our stay. Could not thank them enough for everything they did. Would definitely recommend.

There was nothing we didn't like. The huge stand-alone bath was much appreciated but a bit slippy – although a bath mat is provided. Think it was designed for two! Quite expensive for a short stay but, in this case, you truly get what you pay for.

We had a fabulous stay – thank you Roger and Sally for making it so special. Our room was large, comfortable and had views you had to see to believe. Spotlessly clean and with quality furnishings, it was a place to relax and enjoy. We had a wonderful meal on arrival (you should pre-book), a filling, tasty breakfast and evenings spent in front of the log burner in the guests' lounge. We're hard to please but loved it from start to finish. Thank you David & Morag.

We had to go home as our 5 nights had come to an end. We were saddened as we had not won the lottery so we could not offer to buy Corrie House!

The hosts Roger & Sally are so welcoming! The atmosphere was so warming, relaxing and friendly. Not forgetting Alfie & Maisie their King Charles Spaniels! Nothing was too much for them! Even our border terrier Ziggy was made to feel very welcome! Dog wash, with shampoos and towels available and blanket and bowls available in your room! (With a few little treats too!) The food was amazing, breakfasts and evening meals. A fabulous selection of teas / coffee / water in your room. The bed / pillows / quilt were so comfortable! Utilised the hot tub and dressing gowns / slippers / towels were provided. Had a fantastic night, drinking champagne, stargazing and relaxing! In the lounge the panoramic view of the Sound of Jura are breathtaking, we actually ran out of superlatives to describe what we could see! The sunsets that we saw were out of this world, the views of the mountains covered in snow.. were just.. wow!! Would highly recommend a stay! It's a beautiful, tranquil place and a great base for exploring! We went to recharge our batteries and we well and truly did this with plenty stored in reserve!! We will most certainly be returning at some point in the year! We have absolutely fallen in love with the place and its surroundings!

    Can't think of anything!

Amazing property with exceptional standard of facilities. Our room was perfect, beautifully furnished with a huge, incredible comfortable bed plus the views are amazing. The bathroom was of a generous size with a luxury freestanding bath and a hi-tech shower cubicle. Couldn't fault a single thing, Roger and Sally really have thought of everything a guest could want. We dined on site and the food was fantastic - we loved every meal we had! The lounge was lovely and we relaxed by the log fire and enjoyed the breathtaking views. The large deck is equipped with an impressive hot tub - one of the biggest we have been in! Can't wait for our next visit.

Would like a slightly later official check out time.

Wonderful hidden gem! I almost don't want to share feedback as want to keep the secret of this Wonderful place so I can go back anytime and not find it fully booked. Location is superb, great dog friendly walks down onto the shore line (takes just 5 minutes), stunning scenery and wonderful accommodation. This place has a great lounge area through huge glass windows out to the bay and islands. Great to sit and just watch the weather and the wildlife. It only has 4 bedrooms but each are individual and beautifully designed. Lovely toiletries to use. Hosts are Roger and Sally and very helpful and knowledgeable. Checkout is early at 10.30am but we asked if we could use the lounge if we vacated our room at 10.30 and so didn't leave until midday. Very gorgeous place and would recommend.

Roger and Sally were 2 of the best hosts we have ever had. Text messages on day of arrival to ensure we had booked for dinner through to making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The location was unbelievable and their level of service was superb. Breakfast menu was varied and cooked to order, using fresh local suppliers and all to an exceptional standard. The rooms do not dissapoint, including little personal touches like cafetiere coffee in the room, chocolates and dressing gowns with slippers in the bathroom. The view is incredible. I wont attach pictures as it couldn't do the views justice. I didn't want to leave the lounge😁

The host is a lovely chap, and I (and, for a short time, my 5 year old) very much enjoyed a quiet drink with a fantastic selection from his bar. The outside area is beautiful, the room was lovely and we very much enjoyed it. Breakfast was excellent, and I now have a new avocado recipe! I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely return.

Hands down, one of the best places we have stayed at and probably the best accommodation we have found so far on booking.com! The house is very beautiful and private, the rooms decorated with great taste, high-end details in the bathroom, plus you are spoiled by a breathtaking view of the marina & the Slate Islands from the spacious deck. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and prepared us an amazing dinner. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer.

Corrie house is set in a most stunning location. The views across to Mull and Jura are superb, any time of day or night. We were attending a family wedding nearby, and Corrie house comfort and hospitality made the weekend. Roger and Sally are excellent hosts and the breakfasts were amazing, with an extensive choice. The only downside was the midges who made a pest of themselves while we were enjoying drinks and the views of the sunset on the terrace!!

Corrie House is set in a beautiful location with stunning views to the islands of the Inner Hebrides including Shuna, Scarba, Mull and Jura. Roger, the owner, was very friendly and helpful and ensured that we had a good stay. Our room was very comfortable with amazing views and the breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. We will definitely return in the future.
