My bedroom. Also on returning after going out for dinner there was a drunken man lying across the entrance hall, and no one was doing anything about it. I found that as an elderly woman travelling alone very off putting.

Location was great and the car park a real bonus. The staff were helpful but overstretched. My bathroom was newish and clean but the bedroom was very old and with grubby carpet and curtains. Breakfast was excellent.

Small TV, we did 't eat in the restaurant in the evening due to total limited menu choice.

Should be some comfortable seating in a lounge area.

Hotel with Old World character , good that not all places need a modern boutique appearance.

I Had to complain about the mixer tap on the bath being seized and was unable to take a morning shower although this was rectified promptly.

Apart from having a great location , the Room was a good size and the bed comfortable. we did not use the restaurant facilities as we were one night guests

    Breakfast served downstairs

To be absolutly honest,I am of the generation that prefers table service for breakfast than all the tooing and froing to the buffet table. Also I hate to see the greed displayed at the buffet. The food was excellent and as I am gluten free they were very aware.Thank you.We shall return.

The breakfast was good but, a bugbear of mine, some mornings there was nowhere to throw your discarded teabags or cereal packet. I would have preferred a pot of tea at the table. Sometimes the only fresh fruit left was sliced watermelon as the banana and apple had been taken and no fresh replaced.

Great central location, some of the hotel is in need of an update e.g. carpets on the stairs are threadbare but the entire place is spotless and decorated in keeping with the age of the building. Our room was lovely. Old fashioned furniture but lots of space and the hot water in the bathroom was almost instant, also the heated towel rail was on all the time keeping the fluffy towel warm.

Being something of a tight wad I would have liked it a bit cheaper but it was the best price for that area that I could get at the time.

Very good location. Ample free parking, the free being important as some chains and locations charge. Roomy room. Staff were really helpful and polite.

The room was extremely “tired”! Furniture worn out and television very old and small. Bathroom shower didn’t work but the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was also extremely hot in the room and one of the windows was broken so we were unable to open it.

Staff! They were so very friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them. The hotel was also dog friendly and had good parking facilities.

Arrived Early , 1030, Having Check in time 3 P.M...Showed Special Request, Between 11 & 12..Came back at 11, Back at 12 to be told, 3 P.M...Told Request was just that, a Request. I understand it was a very Busy time with Room turnover etc.. Phoned from Reunion to Check I could check in about 6:50 to enable me take part in some activities. .That was Fine.. Last Minute Booking Caused Check in Time Confusion. .Staff were Polite at all Times. Booked Through 3rd Party site. .Will Book Direct in Future.

Location Central. Very Reasonable Car Parking Charges. Had I time to Explore, Great Location. Good Continental Breakfast Selection... Comfortable Room.
