The light bulbs flicker occasionally. Shower drainage is slow.

Decor is beautiful. Bed and pillows are comfy. Availability of appliances - dishwasher, hob, oven, quooker tap, microwave and coffee machine. Even iron and board available and washing machine and dryer in the basement of the premises. WiFi is fast and entertainment (smart TV) in room. Clean rooms.

Water pressure in the shower was pretty poor.

A cute and comfy room in an unassuming location, from which we could easily walk into Bristol and explore!

It was a bit dark in the basement apartment and lots of noise from above ie banging of doors at 4am and then again at 9am & constant banging & bumping throughout.

The shower was pretty poor. The water pressure wasn’t very strong at all. Also the coffee machine didn’t work.

It was a lovely clean apartment with modern facilities. The bed was very comfy.

We were in the basement flat and the linen was stored above on the ground floor. The weekly linen was delivered at 4:30am on Monday morning and felt like a freight train above us! Also the only place I’ve been asked to provide photo ID by email before you can check in.

Location was perfect…in a cool little neighbourhood. Decor lovely with comfy beds.

Found the technology to book the room a bit over the top and stressful for staying a few nights. The bureaucracy is more suited to long stay. Will not book again for short stay. Long terms and conditions!!! Other short stay problem was realising things didn’t work as switches well hidden (all on e-manual which didn’t realise existed on booking details on website / no information in room). Once again too complicated for short term let. Also searched high and low for kettle. Had to ring advisor who told us got boiling water from kitchen tap. And took hours to get response from advisor. All too high tech and incomprehensible to us pensioners. Sorry / we will stick to hotels in future!

The shower water fluctuated between freezing cold and boiling hot!! Following my reservation, I received an email from the host stating that booking directly through their website would have entitled me to a discount and complimentary early and late check-in, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, they charged a £100 deposit from my account (which I got back 10 days after the check-out), nearly equivalent to the cost of two nights in the flat..a bit excessive for such a short stay!

The flat offers exceptional comfort and is situated in a superb location. The grocery store directly across the street from the flat is great for those aiming to save money and dine in (as we did one night!). If you're not keen on walking far for a drink, the pub on the corner has a lovely beer garden!

The shower’s power is horrendous- I didn’t wash my hair because unless you had it on eco setting (with minimal water power), the temperature kept going from freezing cold to boiling hot.

It was beautifully decorated- lots of character for a studio. Really central and easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to get to.

Room 1 is subterranean - which is fine but not entirely clear in the booking stage. Water pressure could have been better and it’s not easy to walk around (the good sized) bed - so you either squeeze past or clamber over. Otherwise all mod cons and spotlessly clean. Having a pre-arrival email requesting passports and a damage deposit was slightly cumbersome - more frustrating was an email saying that if we’d booked direct we’d have got a discount and the possibility of early/late check in - I fully understand not wanting to pay the 15% commission that bookingdotcom take - but perhaps change the email that those who have receive, it’s not the best start.

Handrail in hallway came off in daughters hand! No instructions how to unlock oven and on phone call to host nobody came back to me. Rug was malting.

It was a really noisy location which meant both of us had trouble sleeping. It's a student area with people out on the street below the apartment having a good time into the early hours of the morning - screeching, shouting and singing! This was potentially made worse by the hot weather which meant closing the windows really wasn't an option. In addition there was a really unpleasant musty smell in the bathroom. I'm not sure if the fan wasn't working - it wasn't apparent that it was on when in the bathroom - but it was really unpleasant to be in the bathroom with the door closed because of this.

It's a really lovely room with nice decor, easy access, comfy beds and clean. It's in a lively location with facilities close by. It's near the university.

The room was underground without any view of outside. Also the location was very far away from central city and you need to get taxi each time. The king bed also wasn’t a single bed it was two small beds they put together. The kitchen was very clean with modern design.

The biggest issue was the extremely low water pressure that went between hot and cold water. The bed could have been better too. It felt like you were going to slip off the edges when you were laying near it. The check in process was also a headache.
