Court Barton Farm is at the end of a quiet lane with views over open, green countryside, with an orchard adjacent to the property. The house is beautiful and our room was large, tastefully decorated in a calming colour scheme and with a lovely, spacious bathroom. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented. Jackie is the perfect host - there when needed and leaving us to ourselves at other times. She is also a good source of local knowledge about places to visit, walks, places to eat and more.

I would definitely recommend. This is a beautiful property in a fantastic scenic location. The hosts are very friendly, and serve a lovely cooked breakfast. For dog owners, there is a walk across fields which starts right next to the property. Me and my dogs were made very welcome, and I would definitely book again.

NOTHING! Other than maybe the fact we can't live there!

The location was fantastic for us as we were close to the beaches we love, near to shops/garage if needed (Kingsbridge) and close enough for a day trip to Plymouth when we had a day of bad weather. It felt like everything was 15-30 minutes away which is great (especially when with a child) and your day isn't taken up with driving. We LOVED our hosts who were just fantastic (and their gorgeous dogs) Seriously, these guys were amazing and we felt like we were at home/part of the family - my 9 year old said the same. The place is beautiful and super well looked after, great facilities, lovely touches, AMAZING breakfasts in the gorgeous dining room (my son said he wanted to spend his Christmas day there!) our room was super comfortable - the beds especially, we slept so well. We honestly absolutely loved it.

There is nothing to dislike!

Court Barton Farm is situated in a lovely village within easy reach of Kingsbridge and Salcombe. The B&B accommodation was excellent. The size of the room was very good with a large bathroom too.The bed was so comfortable. We had a garden view which was very pleasant. Our hosts Jackie and Jeremy were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay giving us lots of advice of places to go. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with enough variety. We felt really relaxed here.

Conpact ensuite, which is often the case with period properties but excellent powerful electric shower, lovely towels and bathrobes.

Jackie and Jeremy were quite simply the best hosts we have ever stayed with. Warm and welcoming with a wealth of local knowledge they are only too willing to share. Excellent breakfasts, spotlessly clean accommodation, very comfy beds, and even frrsh milk for your tea in your room, which is a rarity nowadays. Property is located in Aveton Gifford, which proved an ideal base to explore South Hams, which is stunning. Will definitely return to the area and stay here again.

there is nothing not to like….

This place is just perfect for a tranquil break away. Set right next to a pretty little church in the countryside and so quiet. A real home from home experience, with the most beautiful room. The couple were also so welcoming of my two dogs into their home and were very friendly and chatty. I visited Bantham, slapton sands and hope cove while I was there, all less than half hour drive ❤️

The bathroom was a little on the small side, but did ok.

The two hosts Jeremy and Jackie were really nice, the room was super and Breakfast was all you could ask for. Location was ideal..

In a great position which is typically 20 minutes from most beaches and towns. Very beautiful farm house tastefully decorated with the most amazing hosts and dogs! Made to feel really welcome.
