We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomAir con automatically switched of in the night room then got too warm for us Young students in room 407 having a party woke us up around mid night until gone 0100 took the hotel far too long to sort this out 3 strikes rule is a joke they should have been dealt with more forcibly This really impacted on our overall enjoyment of this hotel And would make us seriously reconsider a return Shame really as apart from that it was just what we wanted !

United KingdomA few stains on the carpets in the room and there was no information within the room, to let you know about breakfast times and facilities available. We wasn't sure if there was room service available, so we opted for a takeaway one night instead.
Breakfast was great, big selection and catered for allergies. Restaurant food in the evening was really lovely and all staff so accommodating and friendly.

United KingdomWe stayed two nights, the cleaners didn't leave enough toilet rolls. It was very hot in the room, plus the bed was not that comfy. There wasn't any sugar left and used mugs glasses were not replaced. Shame as they were just little things that bought the overall score down.
It's convenient for the uni where our daughter is. It's clean with nice rooms. Staff changed my feather pillows. The food was nice in the restaurant and bar staff friendly.

United KingdomThe only option for a vegetarian coeliac was cauliflower steak which was far too expensive, served with lettuce and radish and was undercooked with the core left in. I brought it to the restaurant managers attention and he took my feedback graciously and removed the charge. However, there was nothing else to eat.
The room and the hotel in general were excellent.
