Great cottage, spacious with a lovely garden. It was well stocked and the owner went above and beyond. There was a lovely trail walk which my daughter enjoyed. We wanted to stay longer and would definitely go back.

Absolutely everything. Our second visit here and wont be our last. This little hidden gem is probably the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. Only 90 minutes from our own house, it really is a home from home.

the dishwasher was broke, with a family you don't want that.

The location was perfect, everything was well overthougth. Unfortunatly the dishwasher didn't worked so it was old fashioned with the hand. Really nice to relax and we even did use the BBQ.

The owner sent messages with tons of information and was so easy to contact, making sure that we all settled in and had a lovely time. The cottage was easy to find and we were greeted with a gorgeous welcome basket. The cottage was so cosy and well looked after and the attention to detail was really special. Everything you needed was provided. We were all ready to move in! The beds were so comfy, the showers were amazing, the smart tvs had all the apps we needed and it was toasty warm (we went when there was a weather warning and felt safe). The garden is lovely, it's SO peaceful and quiet. The welcome book had all the info you need, WiFi passwords and local walks etc. Basically we didn't want to leave. We WILL be back. The owners have something really special here.

This cottage was exceptional, the host has gone out of his way to think of everything visitors could possibly want, and more - extra little touches show he truly values their custom. Beautiful, peaceful location, a great place to relax or explore local places of interest - perfect! Highly recommended.

Gorgeous property and location. Extremely helpful and thoughtful owner. Went out their way to make our stay special. Fantastic amenities. Beautiful countryside and loved the peace and scenery. Didn't want to go home and would love to visit with our kids this time.

Lovely place to stay especially as a family. Cottage is immaculate and has little touches making it feel very homely. Location is great for exploring with a young family. Would highly recommend and would visit again!

Beautiful cottage and location. We had such a great time. The cottage had everything you would need. Our boys loved having lunch with the cows in the field behind. It's been the nicest place we have ever stayed in. Communication was also excellent

Can't really say we disliked anything about the "cottage".

The Hospitality of the Host was fantastic. Everything was clean and ready for us. The home is very well stocked with normal day to day items that travelers need. The champagne and snacks were very appreciated as was the glass of local Draft beer. The house decor was excellent and just made us feel at home immediately upon arrival. The kids also enjoyed the back yard views with the cattle!

Absolutely everything. We were there for a wedding, so we didn't really have time to make full use of the cottage and the area. The bed was so comfortable shower amazing, the view spectacular and the extra touches by Gary were extremely unexpected and thoughtful. Communication with the host was first class aswell.

Home from home, spotlessly clean, beautiful cottage. Everything you could wish for, kitchen well equipped with all pots, pans etc. Garden patio area beautiful with great views, very tranquil. Would highly recommend.

The cottage was amazing it had it all very spacious, cosy, clean. The rooms were massive, and the garden out of the back is lovely and relaxing to sit out on a sunny day/evening, and see animals up close :) perfect family stay. Close to local amenities and Dumfries is nearby.

The location was so beautiful and peaceful. The cottage it's the pictures just don't do it justice. It's so spacious and luxurious a real home from home vibe with everything you need.
