Property is in easy walking distance of facilities, shops and attractions in Southport. The property was in a very peaceful location and very private despite being semi-detached and to the rear of the owners dwelling. Had good size enclosed garden which was ideal for my dog.

You were made very welcome by the hosts. The property was comfortable with clear consideration given to promoting an enjoyable stay. The property is well maintained, smells amazing and is beautifully furnished but it is the little extras like the welcome basket of goodies (this visit had Easter treats) and fruit plate that give this accommodation the wow factor and its well deserved high score.

Everything was perfect. The extra touches like the hamper and beautiful Christmas tree were amazing. The owners have thought of everything you would need to stay here. Safe and secure parking on site. Pleasant relaxing garden. Very clean accommodation with more than enough space. Very comfortable beds. The hamper left for us by Gary and Coleen was a very pleasant surprise. Easy walking distance to the town.

The only suggestion I would make would be the addition of curtains would help keep some of the light out as there are only blinds on the bedroom windows. We managed fine with eye masks though and it was lovely and quiet.

A fabulous, modern and comfortable property with lots of additional extra touches that made it feel special. the secure parking was a definite bonus.

I wish we could of stayed longer

Fantastic hosts, beautiful house and great location! The house was lovely, all the little added extras welcome gift basket, balloon and prosecco for my birthday were much appreciated. This house is like a home from home and was exactly how it looked in the pictures. I usually struggle to sleep away from home due to having arthritis but the beds were super comfy. The area was nice and quiet as well so we could relax in peace. Colleen and Gary are fabulous hosts, will definitely stay again. Thank you very much for a much needed break away in your beautiful home 😊

There was nothing we didn’t like

Everything in the cottage is perfection, with high end fixtures and fittings. A secluded back garden which has a barbecue with all the necessary coal etc. Have stayed in luxury hotels and many cruise ships and this is up there with them. The hosts are excellent, always on hand for any assistance, who work very hard to maintain the high standard. We both agreed that ten out of ten is justified.
