Unfortunately from our room you could hear the music from reception. It did go on quite late, around 11pm and we did ring reception for them to turn it down. It wasn’t overly loud in the reception I think the location of our room was just unfortunate, you could just hear the bass. Apart from that we had no problems.

The property is modern, the location is really central to bowness and has a bus stop outside. The parking was easy and the breakfast was really good.

The mattress on the bed was a bit soft but this is only personal preference. You can’t accommodate all people’s backs. Lol.

Great position for Bowness-on-Windermere,the hotel excellent,staff very welcoming pleasant and can’t do enough for you,nothing to much trouble,breakfast 1st class,and the rooms spotless, all in all very satisfied and will be back for a 3rd time.

This was my fault entirely but room was small and being on front of hotel there was a lot of traffic noise. I should have looked more carefully and booked a ' lake view' room and will do so if we visit again.

It's difficult to find fault on anything about Craig Manor. It would be unfair to blame them for the weather!

I have stayec at this hotel before but dince then tjere has been a substantial refurbishment. The rooms are excellent and the restaurant and outside terrace have amazing views of the lake. The breakfast buffet was first class with a good selection on offer. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the bar area is nicely laid out.

Beautiful hotel. Modern and quirky decor. Beautiful location with veranda with views across to the lake. Breakfast was delicious. Piping hot, fresh, great selection and constantly replenished. Room was beautiful and comfortable. Staff were very attentive and always made sure all visitors were looked after.

Manor Room was small but adequate and had everything you need.

Excellent location, comfy king size bed, stylish bar/restaurant with stunning views, tea/coffee/cookies replenished every day. Nice dessert and card in room on arrival for husbands birthday. Lovely powerful shower. Would definitely come back.

So glad we found this little gem of a hotel situated just top of the hill of Bowness, it’s perfect walking distance to the town. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the drinks on the terrace when the rain allowed. We cannot wait to return to this fabulous hotel! As it was our wedding anniversary they us pretty surprise with bottle of wine on arrival it was so lovely
