Room second time around wasn't as good as first, loose floor board which creaked badly by dressing table which made me feel sorry for potential guests below, heated towel rail sometimes banged & clattered when warming up & black stain mark on bed sheet edge which we weren't too bothered about but some guests may find the need to complain ! These are just observations I would like give hotel to hopefully improve or rectify for future guests.

Second time of staying in last 2 weeks & just as good as first ! Staff really friendly & attentive to all our & other guests needs. Swimming pool great & really warm. Food in restaurant was really nice together with great breakfast.

We have the impression the room has not been cleaned at all. They changed only the bedsheets.

Changing rooms for pool could do with update. As could other parts of Hotel. But nevertheless spotlessly clean, good value and 10 mins walk into town. I would use again.

The pool was shut during the day when we went to use it. The window didn’t have a latch so if we wanted to open it it was very wide

Loved having a swim in the pool, perfect stop during our honeymoon. They even kindly upgraded our room which was perfect 🥰 the staff were so friendly as well. The food was so good!

Staff were all lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. There was a large cycling event on and they arranged bike storage for us and even laid on an extra-early breakfast at 4.30am as the event had a 5.30am start!

The lift was out of order and we stayed an extra night and they charged more then double the price for the first night.

Nothing to complain, I am 1.90m tall, it could be depending on the room but the ceiling was too low for me in the bath as a shower.

Ample car parking, automatic doors that I always like when hands are full. Location was perfect, it is far enough from city centre but close enough to walk. We walked to restaurant and come back, it was very convenient. It was 1 night stay for our NC500, we didn't do any breakfast or dinner but it was almost full when we came to hotel. Bed was amazing, super-comfy and for 3 persons, really wide! I guess that this is very useful if you are sleeping with your dog! I know that there is a swimming pool but I forgot to put my swimsuits!

The rooms were a bit hot and didn't really have a climate control. I just opened a window and that helped. The car park is very small so hopefully you get there at a good time to park.

The location, room size, bathroom size were all great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

the pool's changing room was not at all what i expected, and the limited lockers made things a bit more awkward.

Bathroom waste bin hadn't been emptied following departure of previous occupants of room. Walk up to room was a bit like a maze and was up a very narrow staircase when carrying luggage.

We have stayed here 3 times before and this speaks for itself . I would take this opportunity to chastise Booking .com who were taking bookings when Scotland was in early lockdown stage . Mo Party leader Ian Blackburn particularly mentioned this breach

The staff were exceedingly competent and helpful . We would particularly mention Daena who went out of her way to make our stay welcoming in an exceedingly professional and pleasant manner. The swimming pool is an extra bonus
