Tricky to find as satnav puts it in the wrong place. Worth asking host for instructions rather than assuming you can find it!

Lovely old house, quirky in places. My room was comfortable. It suited me very well to get my own breakfast when I was ready for it, rather than having to turn up at a set time. I went into town first! Also worked well for coming in after a concert I’d been in, as I could heat up soup before turning in.

A little hard to locate but I’m being a little picky, it wouldn’t stop us booking again. There is a local Taxi driver who knows where to pick up/drop off.

Good central location. Lovely old property. Clean, comfy environment. Host Sue really lovely and approachable. Nice sized property, didn’t feel too big and full of guests at one time. Kind of hosts to provide basic breakfast essentials in a communal kitchen and dining area at no extra cost.

The lovely character, style and comfort of the property. Also its convenient location for visiting the town and the excellent off-street parking facilities provided. The extremely helpful advice given by the owner on accessing the accommodation was also much appreciated.

Would have liked long life milk in the room so we didn’t have to get dressed to go downstairs to a communal room to get fresh from a fridge (assuming the other guests haven’t used it all first) in the morning.

Good location with safe parking. Comfortable room and hot bath!

Awkward placement of taps on bath which made it slightly harder to get in and out of but probably easier for someone without slight mobility issues

There was a small shelf with a chair that I used as a desk but ended up with the laptop being used on my lap. A larger surface to use as a desk would have made the stay that much better. This comment doesn't really warrant an unhappy face but is worth noting for business travellers.

Polite and helpful host, good location (once I found it), clean bedding and bathroom. A basic kitchen was available if needed but I chose to eat out as various options within a 15min walk

Offering some breakfast options that cater to dietary restrictions would have been the cherry on top.

My stay at Cranborne House was perfect. The place was spotless and the room cosy, making me feel right at home. Everything was carefully chosen, from the decor to the furniture, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Despite being in the heart of the city, it was surprisingly quiet, which made for a peaceful sleep. The location was ideal, close to the attractions and amenities I needed. The staff were great at communicating and made sure I had everything I needed while respecting my privacy, allowing me to relax without any interruptions. I'll definitely be back.

There was no window in our room. The room was too warm as we couldn't turn the radiator off. Creaky bed.

The rate was room only, however it was a pleasant surprise when Sue (owner) showed me the kitchen which contained facilities and ingredients for a DIY continental breakfast. The location was great for where I needed to be and a 10 min walk into Poole centre.

The entrance area was not well lit in the dark or signposted from the parking spaces so I wasn't sure if I had found my destination. Initially I knocked on the wrong front door but fortunately my host was nearby and came to

This lovely Victorian villa is a hidden gem, very near to Poole town centre but tucked out of the way. My host was helpful and responsive, providing me with a very comfortable en suite room. The little kitchen area with drink making and light breakfast items was very handy.
