We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe spa closed at 6pm not 8pm this time so we missed it. The room was freezing and the bar food was overpriced and not wonderful. Breakfast was disappointing compared to last time… no eggs Benedict because the chef couldn’t make hollandaise sauce due to no eggs… I could however have fried eggs!
It’s a lovely place and I’d booked it for a second visit to enjoy the lovely spa

There more personality in my hotel room iron board than him. Also the bar it’s self was boring . No tv / no music / very basic looks more like an storage cupboard rather than a bar !!!

United KingdomTired looking, in need of a make over, bathroom tap not working, shower seal leaking, stains on carpets in room. Felt dogs tolerated rather than pet friendly, would be better to have signs up saying if they are not allowed in a certain area rather than being told loudly in front of other guests. Also limited times for children in swimming pool it would have been good to have been notified of this at time of booking or at least have details of restrictions on hotel description when booking.

United KingdomFood and beverage prices very expensive. £18 pp for continental breakfast which wasn’t a big selection. Bar snacks very pricey eg slice of cake £8:50 and £4:50 for cup of tea. I expect to pay these prices in London but not in north of England.
Spa facilities and treatment that we had booked was very good. Staff were all very friendly.

The dish was no bigger than a cat feeding dish and the lack of vegetables was disappointing the fact that £20 can be charged for something I would class as a children’s meal is outrageous ! The prices in the restaurant need a review ! To be honest the only reason I did not complain was because it was busy and I was so taken aback by the meal itself,

United KingdomKitchen staff smoking outside of reception to the left and at the front of the hotel - it is not pleasant to have to walk through cigarette smoke to get to the hotel front desk and there was no other way of getting to the reception desk.
Staff were lovely, everyone was super professional and helpful. Room was spacious and pet-friendly. We found the food very good and overall enjoyed our visit. Thanks.

Majority inedible (snotty eggs, bacon was rock solid, weird pancake thing that was pure grease, sausage over cooked) I didn’t complain because I had the toast and the sausage and beans so it was enough. But not a place for a decent full English. Carpet a bit sticky in places and rooms dated decor wise. Bring own hairdryer :)
Staff very friendly. Sheets /bedding and towels fresh and clean. Nice location, plenty of parking. Gorgeous area to eat breakfast. Swimming pool hours were great. Elemis products smelt amazing. Pillows were lovely and comfy. Nice and quiet didn’t have any noise from other guests. Water pumps in hall way a nice touch serving still or sparking water (jug and glasses in room to use)
