Room felt too hot in night due to radiators really hot. Couldn't turn down.

Lovely setting for our stay. Comfy beds. Nice big room. Maybe could do with a fresh update on decor in bathroom. Outside door to room a little worse for wear too. Would stay again.

There was a damp/damaged patch of wall in the bathroom that could have done with repair, it was unsightly but didn’t really affect our stay. The bathroom was a little cramped the door just missing the we pan when opened.

Breakfast was excellent with very friendly service. Comfy bed and very quiet location. Location very handy for our weekend at the Historic Festival at Donington Park.

family room - 4th bed was just a bed on the floor by the door. cobwebs in room. asked for toilet rolls, we were told these would be left outside the room but we didn’t receive any.

I think the whole inside just needs a bit of TLC. Signs of wear and tear. Just needs a good paint job and general overhaul and it would be so better. But please leave the old look not make it trendy. Gents Toilets defiantly need a good overhaul. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Staff very friendly. Food very good. Chef was ill Monday morning so no cooked breakfast but was offered a free continental breakfast instead which was very good and much appreciated. Room was clean comfy bed bathroom needs upgrading but I can understand its a old building. Good selection of beers and well priced.

Sometimes and not all the tune, the food was warm or cool.. We don't like to complain and we didn't wish to spoil our break.. our room in the bathroom needed a bit of TlC. Dirty splash marks behind the bathroom door. You can see this when sitting on the toilet and also the paint and plaster is falling off the wall. Bit apart from that all good 👍 ps I believe the crewe & harpur maybe be having refurb soon( grapevine is wonderful)

The staff were exceptional.. I can't fault their willing to help, care, or offer their assistance. Nothing was a trouble foe then

ROOM 6: Some paint crumbling off wall. We struggled with the bathroom and entering and exiting the shower as it was a small cubicle shower. DINNER: Chicken, Bacon and Avocado Salad Bowl - expected chicken and bacon to be hot but served cold, not a lot of dressing or cheese shavings so tasted quite dry and bland. Sweet Potato Fries were ordered on the side but did not turn up and staff were not on hand to ask for them. Menu stated a raspberry coulis with the brownie but it was served with mixed berries - I don't mind changes if I am informed at time of ordering that change has been made. BREAKFAST: Had to ask at end of breakfast for our pain au chocolate as they had been forgotten.

ROOM 6: Was a good size and comfortable DINNER: Well presented, good quality food. BREAKFAST: Well presented and cooked fresh to order.

Basically was according to what was advertised. No complain at all. Clean sheets, clean room and toilet. Super amazing I would definitely recommend and come back.

It was a very cosy area and quiet. The staff are super friendly and very accommodative. Lovely room and spacious, secure wifi. It's very welcoming and warm. The room was clean and clean towels and all.

Value for money, pub serves good quality and value food, beautiful location right next to river Trent, friendly and attentive staff. Beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in great night's sleep.

This visit we had a twin room which was also set up for wheelchair use. A very large bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom was ok but the bathroom needed some TLC. It was very cold with the only heating being a small towel rail in a very large room and the wash basin was not even big enough to wash your hands. Shower was good.

Friendly staff and as this was not our first visit we were remembered. Location and layout of attached pub great for getting together with friends and having a catch up, no-one disturbed us.

The duvet was very hot. The bath was too narrow to share.the shower....shame!

The Food was amazing both .evening meal and a fabulous breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and obliging. Seating spacious and comfy. Bed was comfy.

Evening staff seemed quite tense. Not sure if there are some conflicts there or they are young and not sure what they're doing. BREAKFAST Fruit was microwaved frozen stuff and not nice.

Fish and chips was excellent. Morning staff v helpful. Food reasonably qpriced. Comfy bed.
