Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandAs described- friday and Saturday nights are busy on the main road so we did need earplugs. They were provided which was great but I would definitley recommend bringing your own good ones!
Gorgeous and spacious flat. Great kitchen with everything we needed! Comfy bed, linen and towels. Great location with lots of buses to take us around the city. I was travelling with my Mum who can't walk too far so this was really handy! Fabulous restraunts and bars nearby- I'd recommend booking in advance as they were popular!! Gorgeous overall - I will definitley stay again! Excellent communication with the owner too!

EVERYTHING! The design, decor, amenities, location and the host! Tim is the MOST responsive host in my years of using of Booking.com. He is an OUTSTANDING host and his property reflects the kindness and detail that he brings to his guests. I was looking forward to a comfortable aesthetically appealing experience while in Bristol and I am not disappointed! If you are looking for a comfortable property that’s - like home, close to city centre, surrounded by restaurants and corner stores for the quick pickup items- this is it and SO much more.

CanadaBeing right in the heart of the creative district means quite a bit of bass on weekend nights, but earplugs are helpfully provided by the bed.
Staying at Croft Tiger truly makes you feel like an honorary Bristolian! The flat is located right in the middle of the action, with easy access both to the heart of the city and charmingly walkable residential neighborhoods like Bishopston. The upstairs sleeping area is ultra cozy, with a perfectly comfy bed and an adorable streetside seating area. For me, the best bits were the art thoughtfully selected and arranged across both floors: Bristol’s creative spirit trapped in a bottle and brought indoors!

ThailandStair to bedroom, it’s a bit tiny of the stairs to climb up 😅 but with all good locations, decorating and size of the space. I will giving 10
The size, location, facilities. The place is not far from city centre. You could walk their within 20-25 mins. The room has all cooking kits and nice space of bed and toilet. I like the white chair in the bedroom We drove there and host provide the parking permit for us which is very convenient. Around the corner has very good Sri Lankan food. Sooo good and opposite is convenient store open 24 hrs + restaurants, club and pubs opposite. Just 10 walking step you could get all of those.

United StatesThis apartment has everything you could need and is very spacious and comfortable. Extra touches include unique, colorful art, and streaming apps you can use on the tv without logging into and out of your own accounts, coffee/tea in the kitchen, basics like oil/salt/pepper, etc. The kitchen is great, everything you could need including some extra bits in the drawers like foil, saran wrap, etc. but also decent pots/pans, wine glasses, an actually sharp knife, etc. which is unusual for a vacation rental apartment and very much appreciated. The bed is very comfortable, there are closets to hang your things in, with hangers, plenty of places to sit and think or sit and work. A great apartment and very good value. Yes the neighborhood feels sketchy/dodgy when you first arrive if you aren't used to these kinds of neighborhoods. Not so clean, some drunks/druggies hanging jout on the streets through the day/evening. But walk just 10 minutes down the road and onto Gloucester Road and you've got a ton of great stuff-from pubs, bars, and restaurants to supermarkets, green grocers, charity shops, etc. You've also got a really good pub just 3 minutes walk up the hill right around the corner I recommend. It has 'hare' in the name.

United KingdomThere was nothing I did not like in this property.
This property is in the very heart of probably the trendiest part of Bristol (Stokes Croft) with several buses at 3min walking distance. Collection of the key couldn't have been be easier (code provided to open the 2 front doors; security guaranteed if you don't travel with a Rottweiler!). Regardless of the time of arrival, the key will be there waiting for you. I also loved the attention to detail: door codes, the clear instructions for WiFi password, extensive kitchen ware (including some basic ingredients), available clean sheets and towels mid of my stay, a small selection of books on varied themes on the 2 bookshelves in the living room. Well maintained property. The bathroom is spacious, with a large shower, and appears to have been recently renovated.

United KingdomThe stairs are slightly challenging - they were fine for us but maybe not for everyone.
Loved the location - fantastic restaurants around (we tried Cuban, Sri Lankan and a posh bistro). Great to walk into town and onwards. Be aware though that the lively location brings a certain amount of street noise.

United Kingdom- The bedroom is VERY noisy at night, it's on a busy street with clubs so we could hear music from the club very loudly until about 2am. The host did kindly provide earplugs. - The apartment is spread out over 2 floors and the toilet is down a flight of curved stairs from the bedroom, which I wasn't aware of this when booking. I struggled with these as I'm pregnant, so I would say it's not be suitable for anybody with mobility issues
- The apartment was really cute and quirky - It was clean and tidy - It's in a a really good location for Bristol city centre (about a 10 minute walk) - Free parking is handy, although not the easiest to find a space and if parking up at night can feel a little vulnerable as it's in a very dark and urban residential area - The area where the apartment is located is super quirky with good places to eat and some quirky shops - The host was really helpful and quick to respond to queries

United KingdomParking was a little difficult as it is street parking and was quite busy, so I struggled to find a space. The owner was very helpful and helped me with a place to park. The street can be noisy in the night with traffic and bars outside, so if your a light sleeper, you might hear this. I guess this is something to expect with it being on a busy road. Stairs up to the bedroom are quite steep. This was okay for us, but maybe older people might find this difficult, especially if you need to go to the toilet during the night.
Nicely decorated apartment in a good location. Bars and restaurants right on the street. Apartment has everything you need for a stay and was very comfortable.
