We really enjoyed our stay, the only suggestion has come from the kids to maybe update some of the outdoor toys, but they still managed to play so not really an issue, and there is a small playground a few minutes walk away with some good swings that they enjoyed.

The house was comfortable and spacious with lots of character! The area was very peaceful and the host was friendly and helpful. The house was a good base to drive out for sightseeing- we particularly enjoyed Southwold and Framlingham!

The only thing I personally didn't like was the crows on the door frames. But then I'm not keen on crows in real life.

Alison was very welcoming, the property was lovely, very comfortable, there was also plenty of hot water for the 5 of us, the outside seating was great as the weather was lovely, it was also very peaceful.

Excellent property, clean, homely, well furnished. Beautiful garden with several seating areas. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook with salt, pepper and other store cupboard items available. Warm and cosy with a sitting room plus a dining sitting room. Bedrooms had plenty of wardrobe space, beds were comfortable. Lovely, warm, cosy property. Will use again

The upstairs shower room was uncomfortably small. The mattress was soft.

The location was good. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Property lovely and clean and there was a private garden front and back with lots of outdoor seating. Village shop sold everything and there was a pub serving good food at the bottom of the village.

Lovely house bigger than we expected. We loved the lounge and the comfortable sofa that all 6 of us could fit on. Spacious dining room for family meals. Close enough to everywhere we wanted to visit. Would definitely come back

On the whole, our stay was very good, but there were a couple of minor inconveniences to mention, just for feedback purposes: We seemed to have managed to book as 2 people (rather than the 5 which we intended). As a result, we only had bedding for two beds, but Alison was quick to respond and accommodate us all when we realised the mistake. Thank you for this- and certainly not the fault of Alison! On the whole, the place was decently clean, although there were cobwebs and spiders in quite a few rooms (I think with the time of year, they probably just accumulate very quickly). As we were in the area for a wedding, we were pleased to see the listing had an iron advertised, but unfortunately this did not seem to be true when we arrived, which left us a bit stuck and crinkled! Unfortunately, despite using the password and instructions for the WiFi, none of us could get connected at all.

Alison was very communicative, and accomodating when we realised a discrepancy in the booking (she had expected 2 people and not 5)! She promptly arranged for extra bedding for us. The kitchen was very well equipped, with a washing machine, dishwasher, and plenty of utensils, pots and pans. So we were able to cook and clean with ease. The downstairs space was spacious, and able to fit us all round the dining table. The place was well heated, and the beds were comfy. If we hadn't have brought our own, we would not have been short of board games to play! The king's Head pub, down the road, did great food and were extremely accomodating of our multiple food allergies and dietary requirements. Would definitely recommend. Just a final word of warning to any other wedding guests booking: If you are going to be reliant on taxis to get anywhere, make sure you book well in advance! We naïve city folk made the mistake of thinking they would be abundant, and available... They were not!

The plumbing is very noisy. The fronts of the drawers in the freezer are cracked. The garden furniture has seen better days. The garden needs attention. The glass shelves in the kitchen were dusty.

Location was perfect for travelling around the area and visiting local places of interest.
